I support EJ building for JEWS. IF a final peace accord is reach ever then both sides know that certain areas around EJ will stay in Israeli hands. PAles have done nothing for peace and they will not compromise on anything. So it is a stalemate so keep buiilding.

There is nothing illegal about building homes in Israeli territory, now, is there? I do not think that Israel went far enough. The number of new homes should be doubled or tripled. No country has the right to dictate to Israel where or where not to build in its capital city. Does Israel tell Canada where or where not to build in Ottawa? Of course not. Then no one has the right to tell Israel where or where not to build in Jerusalem. Jerusalem has been Israel's capital for decades. Don't like it? Tough. And it is Israel which determines what its capital city is to be -- not anyone else.

Ironically these homes are good for peace as they create security and a clear border. However, they are not enough, for the need for housing in Jerusalem is great. Gilo is part of Jerusalem and in every past agreement it has been agreed that Gilo will remain part of Israel.
