Poor Danny Danon its over excited idiots like Danny Danon the problem who cannot keep their big LIKUD moths shut after all will he or Hotovely supply us with defence capabilities and veto's at the UN, Danny you are fit to be World Likud President for the rest just shut up
2. Now will all the tuchus leckers please rise...
Al   (11.07.12)
Yeah all 120 members of the knesset just stood up. Israel has no leadership worth a damn. Israel is in for a very rough time over the next 4 years.
3. Obama
Il   (11.07.12)
There is no reason in a democratic society to take control of the comments of MP. Obama proved before where he stands when it comes to Israel.
4. Ouch, my likud !
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. /Israel   (11.07.12)
Following series of undiplomatic statements by Likud MKs, Netanyahu orders party's lawmakers not to comment on US president's re-election without coordinating statements with his office
5. Every bastard a king
Ehud   (11.07.12)
Those Likud "Lawmakers" Dani Danon-style are intellectual dwarfs who believe that irresponsible foreign policy statements are means through which irrelevant and uninformed backbenchers can gain point with the local audience. They are oblivious to the damage they generate and know nothing about the US, the world, and statesmanship. If they weren't so damaging they would just be ridiculous
6. Tembelim
Israelit ,   Israel   (11.07.12)
Bibi included.
7. BS...Bibi did congratulate Obama
Jake G. ,   Cleveland, OH   (11.07.12)
Look it up on Google. Today is the 1st day of The Next Four Years of a new US foreign policy towards Israel. Large amounts of US tax money will be spent on manipulating Israel's upcoming elections to support an 'alternative' candidate and a party that the administration can work with. The candidates to watch for are Tzipi Livni, Yair Lapid, Shaul Mofaz and Ehud Olmert. Expect to see a merger between 'Yesh Atid', Kadima and the Labor Party before January as essentially there are no ideological differences between them. Under the new government, any plans for a preemptive strike on Iran will be shredded. The 'Peace Process' will be resurrected in one form or another with calls for Israelis to once again make 'painful concessions' for an 'everlasting peace'.
8. Likud defiles US democracy and electorate.
pennylane   (11.07.12)
Lets hope Likud doesn't once again gat away with its disgusting, anti-democratic behaviour and figures like Danon are shunned in official washington and not treated as friends of the American people.
9. #7 no merger
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (11.07.12)
They are smarter than that, the merger will happen after the elections. Lapid will go for the rich Leftist vote. Labor will go for the poor people, entitlement socialist vote. Deri will go for the misken sepharadi vote. Kadima will use their limitless election funds to attack Netanyahu. After the votes are in they will make a coalition with either Peres or Olmert as PM with the uniting philosophies being is get the Jews of Judea and Samaria and give Shas money.
10. To No 3 keep dreaming
NATAN ,   ISRAEL   (11.07.12)
And Mickey Mouse is real no?
11. Adelson a big loser
Avramele   (11.07.12)
Worst 100 million investment of his life. Does he now double down on Bibi? Lesson for Israel: thugs can't buy a country when voters fight back.
12. Likudniks disappointed about Obama's reelection
Robert Malinow ,   Israel   (11.07.12)
Why can't some people restrain themselves from spouting off on any and all subjects? What possible good can it do the Israel-American relationship for Likudniks (or anyone for that matter) to stick a thumb in the president's eye? These are probably the same Israelis who hold the view of America that it should send money and military equipment, and provide political support in the international arena, but don't you dare tell us what to do and never never criticize us. Bibi may be trying to stifle these comments now, but he set the example with his own comments and behavior when it suited him. And this is the party that leads our nation?
13. I am not caring
Wang Zuli ,   Shanghai   (11.07.12)
I am not caring who is American leader, but the sure things are America cannot stand up without Chinese aids.
14. 35, 6: you are soooo correct!
Rafi ,   US   (11.07.12)
15. Big mouths are a huge problem in Israel
Rachel ,   US   (11.07.12)

16. # 11
Philip ,   Afula, Israel   (11.07.12)
Well said, agree with you 100%
17. # 12
Stan ,   Israel   (11.07.12)
Well said Robert !
18. #8 What are you rambling on about?
Alex   (11.07.12)
In a democracy people (yes, MKs are also people) are allowed to express their opinions. It seems you live in a dictatorship...
19. Time for Change
Ed ,   USA   (11.07.12)
I'm absolutely thrilled that there will now be elections in Israel. Maybe finally something will happen that brings capable leaders forward ... rather than just re-shuffling the same old people in and out of different cabinet roles.
20. #12 Remember who started it...
Alex   (11.07.12)
Remember Obama's and Sarkozy's embarrasing leak of comments about Netanyahu a while back? This is mutual, and Obama made an ass of himself first.
21. trying to save face
RM ,   Amsterdam NL   (11.07.12)
or put in another way...damage-control because Nethanjahu himself has been less than discrete when it comes to the US elections....
22. Hello Ynet. Bibi congratulated Obama.
Jake   (11.07.12)
And said that "America's relationship with Israel is as strong as ever", And you chose not to report it? Are you trying to embarrass Netanyahu?
23. #8 Obama rules over a house divided
Jake   (11.07.12)
with only a slim lead in the popular vote. I predicted that would happen. And here is my next prediction. Likud and its allies will win a crushing defeat over the Left in the next election, and vacuum whatever remains in the center. And this will be DESPITE the attempts of foreign entities to interfere in the Israeli elections on the side of the Left, as they always do. (You know who you are.)
24. #11, George Soros spent more than that
Jake   (11.07.12)
in getting Obama elected, in which he succeeded; and in interefering in the Israeli elections on the side of the Left, to no avail.
25. #19 And that's none of your business
Jake   (11.07.12)
You don't like the thought others interefering in the US elections, do you? Well others don't like the thought of the US interfering in theirs. And you can be certain, if foreign moneys are found to be channeled once again into supporting the Leftist opposition in the Israeli election, as they always have, this fact will be brought to light, and the sources exposed.
26. #20 Alex
Michael ,   Haifa   (11.07.12)
You sound just like a 5 year old having an argument in the schoolyard. You are pathetic.
27. Translated: Don't piss off your enemies who plan to kill u
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.07.12)
28. we need recording equipment on lieberman
abdalla   (11.07.12)
29. US Israel relations
Stan ,   Israel   (11.07.12)
Senior Likud Minister Gidon Saar just said onTV (Channel One) That US Israel relations have never been better, and he is confident that they will continue for the next 4 years.
30. Eli Yishai is the only one with any sense
zionist forever   (11.07.12)
Yes we all know Obama is going to be bad for Israel but hey we are not election campaigning now, Obama has won. Like it or not we are going to put up with him for another four years and he already hates Israel so why make it even more personal by making public statements about how bad he will be for iIsrael. What we have to hope for now is the Democrats don't take back Congress whilst Obama is in office otherwise we will find ourselves in the situation we were in when Democrats controlled the presidency & both houses of Congress so their job was to rubber stamp Obama legislation. At least a Republican controlled Congress will help balance things.
