Between them Romney & Obama rspent about $.2.6 billion the vast majority of that going to Obama. I find it hard to believe that Obama raised the kind of money he had to spend through ordinary people pledging a couple of dollars online. To raise that kind of money you need wealthy friends and George Soros is one of the few individuals in the world with that kind of money to donate. I am sure we will see plenty of support for Soros in the next four years. Obama tried to interfere with the Israeli elections last time round. As it was such a close contest between Bibi & Livni Obama tried to pressure Peres into appointing Livni as PM because he knew she would say how high Mr President when he said jump, to his credit Peres didn't surrender to Obama pressure and he felt Bibi has a better chance of putting together a coalition than Livni did so he went with him. This time round we openly supported Romney and even now the elections are in we still have idiot Likudnicks making statements about how Romney would have been better for Israel so you can bet Obama is going to try do everything he can to spoil Bibi's chances of getting reelected.

uggugg ,   Buena Park, USA   (11.07.12)
The Israeli people need to be told; Obama is Israel's best friend. Fear is Israel's worst enemy. This message, in spite of world problems, is to remind Israeli's people America is with you.
36. You think only Likud is upset?
Koose E Mack ,   NY NY   (11.07.12)
You think the US can survive four more years of incompetent leadership?
37. Israelis can learn from this.
Shlomo ,   USA   (11.07.12)
The reason the Democratic Party won the presidency and maintained the status quo in Congress is because its demographics represented the changing demographics of the nation. The Republican Party's demographics are right out of the 1950's, mostly older white men & women. While the Democrats became the party of inclusion, the Republican stayed the party of exclusion. That is how Obama won, beating the odds of a bad economy and impending fiscal disaster. The Republicans pandered to their right wing and were undone by their religious extremism, especially when a GOP senatorial candidate stated that a woman getting pregnant from rape is God's will and when another such clown stated that women have built in mechanisms that prevent pregnancy from rape so women never get pregnant when raped. Our religious extremist and Israel's need to get together and form their own country. I can recommend an uninhabited Pacific island that is quite beautiful :)
38. Libtards in charge -sit up straight.
Libtard   (11.07.12)
The Repulsive Party can keep their old white men trying to shove Jesus up our crotches, their hatred, their utterly disgusting disrespect for President Obama, and theirarrogance. The Israelis are better off now than with Romney the Space Case extraordinaire.
39. #38, Libtard, enjoy your Idiocracy.
Jake   (11.07.12)
40. #37 That's the story of the Israeli Left
Jake   (11.07.12)
The Labor and Meretz failed because they remained the preserve of the Ashkenazi ultra-secular left-wing elites.
41. #34 No, Netanyahu did NOT openly support Romney.
Jake   (11.07.12)
Nor did any government ministers. Likud back-benchers and private citizens, now that's another story.
42. Israeli Right
Mike ,   Baltimore, USA   (11.07.12)
The Israeli Right and their supporters in the US (e.g. Adelson) tried their hardest to swing the US election to Romney and failed. Live with the consequences.
43. "The US has put its future in Obama's hands."
Scott ,   Haifa   (11.08.12)
That's a really scary statement! Reminds me of a Forrest Gump quote.
44. #42 Adelson is not a monetary contributor to Netanyahu
Jake   (11.08.12)
And if you evidence of a single quote from Netanyahu that indicates interference in the elections, kindly cite it. Btw how much did George Soros contribute to Obama this time round?
45. Netanyahu
John Ese ,   Ely, USA   (08.25.15)
The Israeli prime minister, Netanyahu, has misled Israel. Our nation has a special relationship with Israel which P M Netanyahu has diminished for his nation. Never before have we seen an Israeli prime minister go so far out of his way to shame a United States president. As an American, I am ashamed of P M Netanyahu. We care doe Israel, but most definitely, not P M Netanyahu. Israel can and must do better than him. .
