Olmert's lawyers will say court found our client innocent this is the state not liking the outcome and looking for revenge. The courts will buy that argument and Olmert's going to come out of it smelling of roses. They tried to convict me of a crime I did not commit I was found guilty, then out of revenge they appealed the decision but the courts upheld it proving beyond a shadow of a doubt I am innocent of all charges and a victim of my political opponents. This is a mistake and we risk making him into a hero and who knows he has ambitions to be PM again if we make him look like an innocent victim rather than a crook he might just pull it off.

Fortunately for Israel the State Prosecutor has a better understanding of justice than the judges.

Olmert will never sit in prison in the State of Israel. So, so many of the sitting judges owe their professional positions and security to the clique of Olmert, Lapid(Yosef, O.B.M.), Hanegbi, Bar-On and Livni that they, the clique leaders, could sell a map of Israel's nuclear program to Iran and the court, perhaps at the Supreme Court level, would ultimately hand down an articulate, well prepared verdict of "not guilty because of insufficient evidence." Yet, I still do not understand why the patriotic Segev, Hirschzon and Sharon went to prison. They are tried and tested party stalwarts. Why were they abandoned in their moments of conviction? NU, Nu.
