Is Ghana some kind of friend to Israel? Or is it just the usual lefty-looney spending of other people's treasure?

If they followed your advice you would probably complain they should be sending aid to Ghana. You need help Papi, ask Israel to send you a shrink.
7. Remarkable!

Israel sends aid to a country which routinely votes against Israel in the United Nations, while Israeli Holocaust survivors are denied reimbursement for basic necessities, such as hearing aids and eyeglasses. I think it is high time we focused more of our humanitarian endeavors at home, and a little less to benefit those who are hostile to the State of Israel. Surely the president of the United States can send aid to his African brethren. Let's focus a little more on the well-being of Jews and a little less on Israel's enemies, shall we?

I rarely disagree with you, but this time I must. Papi is quite correct. There is no shortage of needy Jews in the State of Israel -- why should Israel send aid to a country that does not support Israel in any international forum? I don't mind being a humanitarian, but I'd rather spend my humanitarian tax dollars on Jews before I worry about everyone else.
