I am not rich. I do not fall into the tax category of the $250,000 and I think this plan is lunacy. It's a dis-incentive for people to try and build personal wealth in a country that is suppose to give people the chance to work hard and get ahead. Do as our parents and grandparents did. Work, work, work to try to create a better life for your children. Don't expect others to give you everything except of course in the case of providing a safety net for those truly in need. I live in a large city. Not everyone that I support with my tax dollars really wants to work in a self disciplined way. They don't care about the sixteen trillion dollar deficit. The mentality is that the government owes them something. Sorry, that's how I feel since I've come to realize how much a hard working American like me is being taken advantage of.

You buy whatever he feeds you. Even if you tax the rich, the problem will not be solved as long as government spending increases and the job market remains stale. In anticipation of an Obama win, employers have lay-off plans in place. Unfortunately, the job market will only get worse. Foreign policy has not been Obama's strength. His election will only strengthen Israel's resolve. but I haven't seeing in America, at least in the past, people talking this way. The further we are into modern times the fewer people get there as "rich". There are "heavy earners", sure.
