31. I can see nobody reads Arabic here
Nour ,   1-State   (11.14.12)
1) The "West Bank" is clearly marked. 2) West Bank is not the same color as Jordan, so it is NOT shown as the same country, 3) Jordan and Israel have a peace treaty. What is the fuss about on both sides?
32. Oh and one more thing...the Joulan!
Nour ,   1 State   (11.14.12)
Joulan is marked word by word: "Joulan Occupied by Israel!!" With exclamation marks to add some drama. Emjoy your delusions and non story.
33. Euphrates is East
zivron   (11.14.12)
34. The Promise
Moshico ,   Jerusalem   (11.14.12)
Avraham had two children, may be more but both were promised to be great nations, Yitzhak a greater nation and Ishmael a great nation but not so great. Yitzhak was promised Israel and Ishmael Jordan or Palestine whatever you want to call it’s the same. Now since they have the same father why can’t they learn to get along together, as always in Jewish families there always has to be a brogas, now shake hands and make up.
35. Treaty with Israel?
Danny ,   London England   (11.14.12)
How can they object to Israel being on the map? Jordan has a peace treaty with Israel. Rather than waste good books, they should print another map the same size and ask the pupils to paste it over the offesive one.
36. #1 chaim
barney   (11.14.12)
you say Palestine is fictional but, out of interest, doesn't this mean you have trouble voting in Israel as Netanyahu, Livni etc - all accept a 2 state solution
37. Slowly But Painfully, Change Will Come
Tim Upham ,   Tum Tum, WA   (11.15.12)
The Middle East is, and continues to be a region of factional and sectarian violence. But slowly, and painfully, the people who live there, and the nation-states they belong to will be represented to each other. I saw an Iraqi schoolbook from the Saddam Hussein Era, without Israel in it. But Saddam Hussein is dead, and hopefully his era is too.
