Thank you for your comment. Israel does indeed have the right to defend itself against terrorists. I, too, regret the loss of civilian lives in Gaza. But they are reaping the fruits of what they have sown. I also treasure the lives of Jewish civilians and Jewish children. The State of Israel is obligated to protect them. What a shame that Hamas and the other terrorist entities in Gaza have no respect for human lives -- infant or otherwise. But the remarkable disdain that ersatz "Palestinian" terrorists have for human life will not deter Israel from its course. No matter what the international community thinks, and no matter how many dead ersatz "Palestinian" children are proffered into evidence. Jewish life is not cheap. I wish Hamas and the other terrorist groups operating in Gaza were concerned about the lives of ersatz "Palestinian" children. But if they do not care -- and it is quite clear that they do not -- why should I care more? I save the lion's share of my sympathy for Israeli children living in the south, who are forced to live and study in bomb shelters, because of terrorist blood-lust. Jewish babies have been killed, too.. Lots of them. Does anyone remember, or care? Well, I both remember and care. The ersatz "Palestinians" in Gaza are living the consequences of their actions. Life is hard. Too bad.

34. Morsi is rather useless ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.20.12)
.... as a broker for peace. We all know where his sentiments lie. He can hardly be considered neutral -- Israel should not even have sent a representative to Cairo. When we have cleaned out the terrorist enclave that is Gaza, then we can work on who to send where. But Morsi is unacceptable as a negotiator for anything. Besides -- Israel holds all the trump cards. Hamas is demanding concessions. This isn't going anywhere, so why waste time?
35. Thank God Morsi's gone, this time Egypt's on our side...
Nick Z ,   New York, NY   (08.11.14)
...Egypt is on Israel's side this time, though Obama may be another story.... While the casualties are tragic, one fights a war to win, not to bomb empty houses while the problem continues.
