31. The US Senate OK but the UK Government......
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (11.16.12)
Quote SKYNews' Tim Marshall this morning said that the Foreign Secretary William Hague, will "contemplate condemning Israel" if there is a ground attack. The Brits and NATO have killed who knows how many Afghans in their fight against the Taliban to protect people at home but Israel cannot defend her people with international condemnation? Typical antisemitic Britain!
32. poll after poll no.2
DanLondon ,   London   (11.16.12)
I'm sure the polls you are seeing in iran are from a completely reliable source, right?
33. #24
Alex   (11.16.12)
Sorry to wreck your filthy dreams delusioned "split". Ron Paul is pro-Israel, and have acknowledged Israel's right to defend themselves (he doesn't even oppose an Israeli attack against Iran), he does however oppose financial aid of any form to any country.
34. Senate backs Israel
Ike ,   Chicago, USA   (11.16.12)
How many Jewish lives do resolutions save. Obama is silent. Wait until he finds out about the attacks, maybe in january or february! He's always the last to know.
35. Cracked record persian parrot?
big bad Jew ,   United States   (11.16.12)
'pally wanna occupied territory?' " " " " repeat when necessary.
36. #2 Persian Pussy
BEN JABO (MACHAL)   (11.16.12)
The Congress is held in such contempt that most of them get re-elected each time them run for office Regarding the American People, according to Gallup Polling, 63% favor Israel, which by the way is the majority, check it for yourself, before displaying your ever so obvious ignorance
37. #8 Michael, CA
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (11.16.12)
Don't forget to bow and kiss his ring when you apologize to Obama
38. American people support what?
James ,   Seattle   (11.16.12)
I'm not sure where these polls get their participants but I can assure you, most Americans are tired of getting drawn into Israel's battles. I'm, and many others are perfectly happy letting you go alone on this one. This just continues to show that American politicians are increasingly out of touch with the populace. America does not support you!
39. James from Seattle
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (11.16.12)
I am a proud American and I strongly support Israel. I expect that my representatives support Israel. I am happy to hear that Senator. Gillibrand from my great state of NY presented this bipartisan resolution and it was passed with overwhelming vote. I can assure you that most Americans are tired of Arab / Islamist fascism that has been threatening our modern way of life all around the world.
40. Disgrace
Damien ,   New York   (11.16.12)
Supporting bloodshed is a crime! Hopefully some real politicians will be brave enough to advance the peace process instead of supporting Netnyahu's political stunts
41. To: No. 38
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.16.12)
Frankly, we'd rather go it alone, too. The U.S. would only get in our way. We have seen how "well" the U.S. acquitted itself in Iraq, Afghanistan, Waziristan, Libya, Yemen and -- my personal favorite -- Somalia. Just stay the hell out of our way, and we'll clean up some of the messes of American manufacture, just as we did when we blew up the Osirac reactor in Baghdad (would have been quite a different Gulf War you'd have had in 1991, wouldn't it, if we hadn't had the foresight to do what we did) and when we blew up the nuclear reactor in Syria (look at what's going on there now and utter a short prayer of thanks that Israel saw it all coming). The American people overwhelmingly support Israel, even if the American president does not. You are clearly out of touch with reality.
42. #38 James - Galljup poll a cross-section
BEN JABO (MACHAL   (11.16.12)
America has NEVER fought a war for Israel American Politician's get re-elected, which show the people support their way of doing things ] Until you can actually come up with some facts that say otherwise we'll ignore you
43. #112 Ariel, referencing Israel support article on Obama.
Michael ,   California, USA   (11.16.12)
Please see below and at the same time let me agree with you that the Congress is what really counts the most, not the President. In the past, most of the attacks on U.S. on this website were addressed upon Obama, the re-election candidate, not the Senate explicitly. An article on Obama's support of Israel, dated 14 November 2012: http://news.yahoo.com/obama-talks-israel-egypt-gaza-attacks-013925427--politics.html.
44. Politicians are not paragons of justice
Tomek ,   Poland   (11.16.12)
It is domestically beneficial for any US politician to voice his or her support for Israel's actions no matter how abhorrent their are. The redneckdom of the country expects it.
45. To: No. 44
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.16.12)
The rednecks aren't terribly fond of Jews, stupid. And coming from Poland, you really should shy away from addressing "abhorrent actions." The Jewish people haven't forgotten our history in your nasty country. It was pretty abhorrent.
46. # 31 David re: the BBC
big bad Jew ,   United States   (11.16.12)
Have you read or heard of the BBC's recent scandal involving pedophiles? No wonder no one takes them seriously.
47. to 16.

TO A IN BELGIUM I COULDENT AGREE MORE ABSOLUTLY RIGHT, HELP THE PEOPLE THAT GOT CAUGHT UP IN HURRICANE SANDY. NOT THOSE EGYPTIANS AND GAZANS. DANNY ENGLAND.
48. comment
Norman ,   Toronto Canada   (11.16.12)
You are sadly confused. Israel responds to aggression just as the US responded to Japanese and German aggression as well as Korea and Viet Nam and oh yes Kuwait.
49. support
Norman ,   Toronto Canada   (11.16.12)
James, are you saying that America supports attacks on Israel?. Last time anyone attacked the US, America retaliated. For the record Israel is going alone on this one,

Well, you certainly are living proof as to why Poles are by and large an ongoing ethnic jokie .... Trust me. Jews don't miss Poland, either. And Poland isn't doing so well. Next on the "look which European country is about to go bankrupt" list.

58. US Congress
susann kay ,   bronx, ny   (11.17.12)
of course the corrupt congress is for Israel, afterall they are all invested in the war machine. We have the most dispicable congress in the history of the US,
59. Number 31 and 46 UK Foreign Office
Danny ,   London England   (11.18.12)
So far the UK and the EU have both supported Israel's right to self-defense. Sky t.v. has no connection to the BBC.
60. #7 " a huge majority of the US population backs Israel".
Robert ,   Australia   (11.18.12)
That's worrying when it is widely recognised that "A huge majority of the US population" is a bunch of fundamentalist nutjobs who don't know their ass from their elbow.
