1. Empty sites
Jack London ,   London UK   (11.16.12)
The BBC reporters on the ground in Gaza report that the IDF is striking empty building and missile launch sites after both the operators and their equipment have gone. It's not surprising that no one is using the well known Hamas buildings, and they say most Hamas commanders are hiding in underground bunkers.
2. It's a Trap!
Ackbar ,   Mon Cal, Seska City   (11.16.12)
So...If all five of Israel's Iron Domes are all down in the South, does that mean that there is nothing to protect the north should Syria or Hezbohalla kick off, and Israel cannot strike Iran while they are, as it knows Iran's allies would fire 50,000 missiles at the north?
3. New Weapons
Sahka ,   Chicago USA   (11.16.12)
Hamas didn't have anything that could hit Tel Aviv 5 years ago. Clearly Iran has supplied them with more new toys. What will happen when they supply them with shoulder-launch anti aircraft missiles? Does that mean that the IDF won't be able to do air strikes anymore? Why not take control of the Gaza/Egypt boarder so they cannot bring any more weapons in, or keep digging the tunnels?
4. I wish the IDF would learn to shut up and do what has to be
Al   (11.16.12)
done. I dont have to know what and how and where and when they do what they do. This is not a PR excercise. TO THE IDF SHUT UP ! DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO...JUST SHUT UP!
5. Once and for all ?.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (11.16.12)
I Quote - IDF chief agrees to draft reserve forces ahead of possible ground operation in Gaza Comment - Hopfully this problem now will be solved once and for all, as according to the Word of HASHEM. No more Half - Measuries. Arn.Sweden.
6. Weak politicians-weaker IDF
anonipous ,   Israeli in the south   (11.16.12)
Dont let the garbage in the news fool you. The rockets haven't abated one bit. Hundreds of sorties flown the only things that are getting hit are useless targets such as mortar and missile launch pads that have been used and left behind, and empty buildings (so called strategic targets). This may fool some people in the west but does not fool us Israelis living on the front lines. Hamas does not need any empty building to launch anything, nor do they need any cover beyond civilians because they know the IAF wont hit there. The only thing that has made a measly difference so far is the kipat barzel that shoots down the odd rocket. The IDF will play this game for a couple of more days then there will be a ceasefire and then we will repeat this entire exercise in a couple of weeks. In order to stop the rockets once and for all the politicians need to grow balls and the IDF needs to go into gaza to cleanse it of hamas, islamic jihad and etc.
7. time for the Haridim
Mordechai ,   Beit Shemesh   (11.16.12)
to pray harder, so that where they live is not hit, ha! the only way to stop the rockets to is to forcibly take all the Haridim and use them as human shields for our soldiers, let them fight it out with the women and children of Gaza while the IDF deals with the terrorists. it is called killing two birds with one stone. finally a way to solve two problems instantly. the empty Haridi apartments for the poor who presently live in 35 metre boxes!
8. BBC reporters are arab
daniel ,   TA, ISR   (11.16.12)
Everyone know that the BBC are anti-Semites, and that their reporters on the ground in Gaza are arab. This give a biased report on what is going on in Gaza and anything that the BBC reports concerning this situation in Gaza is probably false.
9. Israeli limitation
Jasim Hussain ,   Kit, Iraq   (11.16.12)
The die is coasted : no war on Iran whatever Iran does .

solomon ,   bklyn   (11.16.12)
Your post is ludicrous. Your "conclusion" has no connection whatsoever to what is happening, and no connection to reality. It is only a delusional expression of your wishful thinking. Israel still has all options open.
11. I insist Jews die
Ehud Barak ,   Judenrat Director   (11.16.12)
I insist in sending the flower of Israeli youth into `Aza - of course I could have won the war already using aerial power but I am so humanitarian and loath to hurt any of my dear Arab friends. However Jewish youth dying is not a problem for me.
12. Hamas can’t possibly fire enough rockets
Ypip ,   Canada   (11.16.12)
to overcome the kind of military advantage Israel possesses by virtue of its breathtaking intelligence operations. God bless the IDF.

BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (11.16.12)
& think, Al Kabir in Syria & Osirak in Iraq, no longer exist
14. New era
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (11.16.12)
Let the Zionists send as many ground troops and pieces of equipment as they wish. They will be chewed up rapidly and completely. It's a new era now. It is not 1948, 1967, or 1973. This time the battle will be totally victorious for those who seek to deliver Palestine from the Zionist yoke.

Which coast? The Mediterranean where it touches Gaza or the one along the Suez Canal? Oh, goodness! Could we be talking about the Euphrates? Watch your step.

You still here Sarah? Thought you'd be on the front line by now, exterminating all those 'vermin', as you so eloquently referred to them recently.

We leave for Israel on Tuesday evening. Not that it's really any of your business. Why aren't you in Gaza, alongside your ersatz "Palestinian" brethren? Are you a coward? A hypocrite? Willing to pay lip service, but unwilling to actually put your money where your mouth is? Well, well. Doesn't that cast you in a new (but highly typical) light!

Don't assume anything about me, but do have a safe trip, you'll be in my thoughts...
