I imagine once this is over we will here a lot of talk about the need for peace from Obama and others which will renew the energy of Israel's peace camp. Bibi should be admired for launching this operation but I have a feeling that even if the rocket fire ended today and Hamas said we surrender the peace process is again going to take centre stage at the election and if Bibi had wanted to avoid that he would have waitd till after the election. With Yair Lapid promising. To be all things to all people the peace process being made a major election issue Bibi will have a real hard time. He actually needs Olmert to return to Kdima to split the left wing vote.

They are NOT destroying the launching sites located in populated areas. Hamas knows this. Israel announced it on the radio. Hamas is launchig missles from schools and mosques without any fear.
