Israel needs to drive every Arab in Gaza into Egypt and turn of all electric and water. Let them go live with the muslim brotherhood.

DOV ,   USA   (11.17.12)
Every time I see dead baby's in Gaza it makes me wonder whether its all an act.
5. Weapons of mass destruction should be used before ground
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.17.12)
troops. There are no "civilians" in gaza, only hamas supporters, they voted for them, they live with them, they are all hamas, they die as hamas NOT as innocent civilians.
6. Such a major disconnect with reality!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.17.12)
Did the terrorist elements in Gaza really think that they could continue to fire missiles and mortars indiscriminately and Israel's civilian population and Israel would just treat them like naughty children and ignore their tantrums? Did they mistake Israel's patience for weakness? Did they think that the international community (outside the usual terror apologists in the Arab and Moslem world, of course) doesn't really know that Hamas and the rest of the terrorist rabble are responsible for the Israeli wrath that is descending upon Gaza? It is a point of frustration with me -- and a point of pride -- that Israel has clearly opted to this the painstaking way. There is no doubt in anyone's mind that Israel could easily obliterate Gaza in a matter of hours. All Israel would have to do is match the terrorists, missile for missile, mortar for mortar -- and a few more bombing runs. But Israel chose to be concerned about collateral damage, and after the major terrorist infrastructure is demolished -- and that is well on the way to being realized -- then the armored divisions and infantry will take over prosecuting this war. It's unfortunate that their are -- and will be -- civilian casualties in Gaza. But that is a consequence of war, and the terrorists that run roughshod over Gazans are exclusively to blame.
7. If no Zionist is safe...then much of Gaza is doomed.
David ,   Hartford USA   (11.17.12)
Unless Gazans turn on their Hamas goon overseers, much of the place is going to get vaporised- but Hamas doesn''t care for the lives of Gazans, especially if they are lost in the act of jihad. We all remember 'jihad,' the most noble aspiration of all Muslims. Seriously, it's time to rip a few pages out of the Quran and bring it into the 21st century. Until that happens, and until psychopathic Islamists can get over the fact that Israel exists, these battles will continue and Gazans will perish. Hamas, you'd rather fight Israel even it brings destruction to Gaza. That proves you are not fit to lead. Prepare to meet your virgins- 72 copies of Arafat- all waiting for each of you. G-dspeed IDF! Put an end to the 'Time of the Barbarians.' America is 100 percent with you.
8. Hamas will not stop firing rockets without being
Miron ,   USA   (11.17.12)
brought to its knees. The only way to bring it to knees is to cause a lot of carnage to Gaza. Netaneyahoo will not do it. He is no partiot of Israel who will risk his political and personal future to this degree. Don't be fooled. This guys is an Israel in an of itself. With it's own past, present, and future. And frankly, there is no existential threat to Israel coming out of Gaza, at least now. Hence, such a drastic measure will be hard to justify, even if I ready for it morally, spiritually, and physically. On my mind rocketing Israel deserve any responce nesessary, including nuclear strike killing large populated areas. I have no hesistance to say it and Gazans must understand that rocketing Israel will eventually result in this or similar responce. That's not a question of one blogger or one PM. The question is regarding time nesessary force to counter threats and resources And when I say "time" I do not meant "today". I mean the day when the rifles of "cloud pillar" stop talking. Hamas or who ever comes after will continue firing rockets at Israel. They will continue doing so until the said above decisive operation takes place, or they change mind. If this operation is not thought out as a "decisive one" and I do not see how it can be one, than there is no question that everything will go back to where we were yesterday, before operation on the ground started. So, if we are to check the parameters of time nesessary force to counter threats and resources how does this operation help anyone to counter threats??? It does not. What does is additional Iron Dome batteries. Each one will reduce threat to Sderot by x percentile points. 5 of those will have sufficient coverage and backup, in case one or the other goes out of order, to handle any number of rockets Hamas can possibly come up with, while letting Sderot sleep like a baby. So, how does any ground operation Barak and Netaneyahoo preparing helps Israel? It solves nothing, at best. Each photograph of dead or maimed Gaza baby on the other hand replaces in world's view current troubles of unemployment financial crisis disposesssion and poverty with BAD JEWISH PEOPLE MURDERING GAZA BABIES. Frigging idiots, what are you doing? Nobody gives a flying duck about Abu Juju or Hamas Dudu, even if each one of the cut throat of Jewish child with own hand! But filling the world with photos of BAD JEWISH PEOPLE MURDERING GAZA BABIES is not going to pass lightly. Who do you need to tell this to you so that you hear. idiots? NY Times? CNN? BBC? Obama's Oval Office? Why is Israel being denied by people responcible for the country? Who is there to talk in the whole country? Clouds?
9. another reservist

Government of Israel. Buy me a ticket from New York to Tel Aviv and ill sign up to army from airport
10. The Tragedy that is Hamas
Brant ,   Hilton Head USA   (11.17.12)
I look at the picture of the dead Palestinian baby in its bereft mother's arms and ask Mashall, Haniyeh and all the Hamas leadership, is that what you want? All this so you can hate Jews, call them monkeys and pigs and fire endless salvos of now provenly lethal rockets at them? And what did you THINK Israel would finally do? Bleat to the UN the way you do? Have chest thumping meetings where you cry resistance but fire your rockets from behind your Mosque's holy wall's and your women's innocent skirts. How brave you are!!. Israel left every inch of Gaza, They left their orchards and vineyards. Did you keep them growing? No, you burned them. Hate ws more important than help for your people. Hamas, you are a tragedy for the Palestinian people. You are a failure at understanding the value of life. Stop your madness. Israel has decided not to take any more of it.
11. PA Says It's A Massacre
Brett ,   Florida   (11.17.12)
That is what firing rockets at another can bring, a massacre down on your own heads, idiot!
12. Still waiting to be surprised:-)
HaifaGuy   (11.17.12)
So far none of your ballistic experiments have born any element of surprise, although one of them was deadly. We, on the other hand, keep surprising you time and time again. You are too backward to surprise us.
13. 3rd large picture from above: "Gaza after IDF strike"
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (11.17.12)
This image is very much a symbol of what I dislike concerning the methods of IDF and the orders directed by the government. The building are destroyed, but there are still Arabs alive walking on the ruins. The buildings and the people on the picture should both be gone. Hostility and Jew hatred exist in the minds of the people on the picture - and not in the building. The picture below: why hasn't IDF flattened ALL buildings to the ground? IDF should destroy every single building and structure in Gaza and IDF should destroy every single breathing organism in Gaza. When that is done, Israel will be safe.
14. All to the good Give that Gaza trash no rest
Cameron ,   USA   (11.17.12)
15. gaza retaliation
Yosi Amram ,   los angeles, USA   (11.17.12)
The world press never shows pictures of rocket launches, all unprovoked and fired indiscriminately at Israeli civilian areas. As always, hamas' islamofascist terrorists fire their rockets from inside urban areas, placing everyone around them in peril during firings and Israeli retaliation. This fact will never be reported, only the damage done in Gaza, which would never happen if hamas did not exist, or at least did not engage in this terrorist activity.
16. You reap!
Jack in Atlanta ,   Atlanta   (11.17.12)
You reap what you sow....i am not moved by dead babies.
17. Raze Gaza
Druker ,   USA   (11.17.12)
These animals want war - give it to them and wipe the things out completely. Ignore the pacifist and world opinion. Both of these are ignoring the fact that Israel is being hit with missiles day in and day out. If these thugs want to ignore this fact, then Israel has to ignore them and wipe the enemy completely out, including Egypt if they decide to get stupid again. Their memories obviously are short.
18. Disgusting Facism
Zivron   (11.17.12)
When Rocket fire comes into Israel and persons get injured or killed Hmas has to move north to Ismailia which ought be converted to a mega city. But saying you don't care about civilian deaths emasse is like nazism and Pol Potism. All non combatants ought be evacuated from Gaza and South Mnegev unless fully protected by good underground shelters.
19. Hamas starts the war and the retards in the
Jerome ,   Basalt, Colorado   (11.17.12)
World blame Israel! Up is down, black is white and blue is green. If there was no Islam and Nazis in the world, would the the world be a better place? keep killing the evil commanders and let them have all the martyrdom the love so much.
20. The dead baby picture is fake
Jerome ,   Basalt, Colorado   (11.17.12)
Why is the mother just ok and fine. Everyone knows the pally wood directors work over time during prime time whoop ass.
21. Look closely at center of hospital picture
(11.17.12)
Is that Haniyeh with the white hair and beard? Of course he most likely lives in the hospital since he knows he is safe there. What a cowardly dog...
22. Look closely at the center of the hospital picture
Israeli Texan   (11.17.12)
Is that Haniyeh the cowardly dog hiding behind in the background? He probably lives in that hospital as he knows Israel would never bomb it. Don't worry rat, your day will come.
23. the terrorist is dead - long live the terrorist
Broomie   (11.17.12)
Waste of blood and treasure - insanity is doing the same thing over and over even though you know it's failed many times before and failed again...
24. Y-Net
DavidR ,   USA   (11.17.12)
Please help me to understand your reporting. Why were no pictures included which show Israeli casualties? I have heard reports of the dead Israelis. But, all you show is gaza. There is two sides to this action. Are you trying to build world sympathy for the gazans and hamass?
25. war
nemo ,   usa   (11.17.12)
Israel, dont expect the USA to back you up and look forward to funds getting cut.
26. Have you noticed?
Howard Immanuelson ,   US   (11.17.12)
That virtually all of the accounts of the fighting start with Israel taking out the Hamas leader? The mainstream media is already leading the charge that Israel started this, conveniently leaving out the preceding 3 days where Gaza fired over 100 missiles into southern Israel. Unbelievable.
27. # 9
