As far as SKYNews' chief reporter in Ashkelon, Israel is to blame and the "poor Palestinians" and "poor people of Gaza" are being brutalized by Israel! The window has closed and Arab pressure on the wimpy British has won! The cowardly British Government through Foreign Secretary Hague has warned Israel that a "Ground invasion" will change the "sympathetic" attitudes of the West into condemnation! The British killed thousands in Iraq and are still killing people in Afghanistan but condemn Israel for defending itself! Prime Minister Netanyahu, PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THE BRITISH! The weapons they are trying to sell the Gulf States will eventually be turned on Israel just as they did in 1948! Hasbara has failed as we kne it would and we must now do what is best for us and get right of this abscess called Gaza once and for all. The fact is that the world likes dead Jews and loves the Arabs who commit atrocities against Israel and the world.

why does Bibi have to THANK world leaders for their acknowledgement that Israel has the right to defend itself? What does this imply about Bibi's and Israel's view of itself? Why does Israel have to exert special efforts to protect so-called civilians in Gaza when no other nation would make such efforts (e.g. the US bombed Baghdad)? Surely efforts should be made to minimize civilian casualties but NOT AT THE EXPENSE of Israel's civilian population or of its soldiers (to minimize casualties Israel will send in infantry rather than bomb from the air residential areas where Hamas embeds itself). Israel shouldn't apologize nor feel grateful that the world recognizes its existence. It should conduct this war like any other nation would. This, in turn, would end the conflict forever. Under the present mindset this conflict will be over only temporarily with another flare up in the near future.

Hamas is the pus that fills every infection. A Truce or Cease Fire only allows the infection to grow stronger. When a Doctor prescribes an antibiotic they warn that you must take the treatment for the full amount prescribed. If you cut it off early, you risk the pus growing stronger. Shut off the food, fuel, water and electricity Israel sends to Gaza. Bomb each smuggling tunnel.

That is what Bibi really means. That is what this entire sordid attack on the Palestinian people is about. The Israel military murdered a 13 year old boy and then escalated the situation when the certain elements in Gaza launched a missle in retaliation. So the Israeli military killed two Palestinians. Then the Israelis murdered the very man negotiating the truce to stop the violence. This endless cycle of violence is almost always started by the Israeli government when it wants to divert the minds of the Israeli people from their internal problems. This time Bibi wants to be re-elected. And he will be. Because the Israeli people are like stupid sheep. Forever caught up in their hatred of everyone who isn't in the tribe.

Things are going very bad for Hamas . There capabiliy is damaged, their credbility is damaged and successes are hard to find. They remain bunkered awaiting the opportunity to see any sort of single reversal of their fortunes hence their hope in a ground invasion so they can claim to have confronted the Israelis . They will clutch at any straw to try and reestablish their credibility in the face of the people who have little to celebrate. The leaderships of Hamas and I Jihad are under pressure for their movements and themselves. They will hope to sit things out until their luck changes. The pressure on them is telling.

Get the civilians out of those buildings and destroy them.

The world recognizes that the longer Israel pounds the Gazan Arabs, the stronger and safer Israel will become. They don't like a strong and safe Israel. They want a weak and vulnerable Israel, one where the Jews are under constant threat of harm and extinction. Israel has a unique opportunity to quiet the Gazan Arabs, for some time at least (sadly, they will never be silenced altogether), and give the fine Jews of Israel some peace and serenity. We would be fools to halt our operation prematurely before we can drill into the minds of the Gazan Arabs that it simply does not pay to aggravate the Jews. We will never tolerate their aggression.

1000 targets or not, roquettes are still raining down. The Air Force will not be able to solve it alone (like in Lebanon war 2 where at the extreme end the Hezbollah was still sending 200 roquettes a day after a month of aerial raids). Another truce will allow them to re-start the whole game again. What are we waiting for "expanding" the operation?
