Get your facts straight. Israel has not occupied the Gaza strip for over 20 years. It's administrated by the Palestinian Authority. If they had kept quiet, Israel would not need to do what it's doing now. Unfortunately that's not the case and that authority is letting Hamas rule them (to some degree unwillingly). Hammas are not killing lots of Israelis not for lack of trying, but because they are failing. They are failing, because, unlike hammas, Israel actually cares about its citizen and works hard to protect them. So they have shelters and state of the art missile defense systems and warning systems, and people are trained to protect themselves as much as possible . Hammas on the other hand does not care of the civilians, they fire randomly , from within civilian sites and a large chunk of their rockets fall on Palestians . The blood of the Palestenian children is on the hands of the Hamas. If they stop firing rockets, Israel will stop the operation. It they stop building their arsenal, the siege would be lifted.
