1. WHAT??
APHOT ,   NY USA   (11.19.12)
40,000+ DEAD IN SYRIA- SLAUGHTERED IN THE STREET AND NOT A WORD FROM YOU!!!!! THIS IS NUUUUUUTS!
2. This freaking idiot talking again!
Jaime ,   Mexico   (11.19.12)
It's amazing how little it took for Turkey to become Israel's hater and stop being his friend. A ship containing ammo was coming to "help" Gaza, and when Israel intercepted it the passengers attacked the soldiers, and of coarse for self-defense the soldiers responded. Suddenly, Israel became the agressor. Tired of this guy and his ever growing hate for Israel...
3. Shameful words.
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (11.19.12)
I deplore, very much, Erdogan's offensive words about Israel. For him, Hamas' aggression doesn't care, anyway. For him, the Jewish State must "surrender" to the ones who want to destroy her. Desgusting. I hope that Turkish people, in the next election, remember the good and wise principles taught by Kemal Ataturk; on repudiating dark radicalism.
4. How's Saleh Aruri's training going with the MIT agency?
Ypip ,   Canada   (11.19.12)
5. Erdogan Statement
Donald ,   Lagos, Nigeria   (11.19.12)
I had expected a more objective and rational statement from Turkish prime minister. There are better ways of gaining relevance in the middle east and muslim world other than making statements that fuel the Hamas & Israeli conflict. Erdogan is certainly not a man of peace...may peace be far from him!
6. Erdogan
Roxy ,   Israel   (11.19.12)
Israel is only trying to put an end to what Hamas has started, daily firing into Sderot over the years. Where is your voice against those being murdered in Syria and Sudan byt their fellow countrymen?
7. Erdogan: Israel is a terrorist state - What
Adam ,   London   (11.19.12)
a muppet this man is. It's OK to kill Kurds and of course Jews don't even bear consideration. He has heated up the Turkish economy, and used that to push the country to radical Islam . It will all end in tears.
8. Erdogan hand his party AKP are pro-Israeli politician
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (11.19.12)
Despite outside appearance is Erdogan ever standing up against Israeli aggression there is NO SINGLE action he may take for the benefit of Palestinians but he is still supporter of Israel. Even in European countries they boycott many Israeli products produced in occupied regions but NOT IN TURKEY, Turkey continues BUSINESS and MILITARY relations with Israel. Iran helps to improve longer range missiles in gaza but show me a single contribution from Erdogan to Hamas? There is none. Only stand up shows for local harvesting of muslim votes and popularity in muslim public international. Erdogan is a part of sinister Zionist-USA policies step by step carried out by Libya, Egypt and now Syria. After Assad falls, Iran will be left alone and Israel will strike iran. After Iran was defeated, if possible, zionism will again return their destructive conspirarcies toward Egypt, Syria and elsewhere. Muslim should understand if Iran defeated any sunnah or any muslim in the world will not be better off but will be subject to bloody massacres. Erdogan is not your friend, he is friend of Israel.
9. Erdogan Israel is aterrorist state.
Mason ,   Chicago USA   (11.19.12)
I said that Israel is a terrorist State long before Erodan.
10. Mass killing of Muslims?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (11.19.12)
I guess if that were the case - then the biggest terrorists would be Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Libya right now
11. This is Obama's partner in peace for region
r ,   Atlanta   (11.19.12)
Partner possibly, peace is a big no, he and his Islamic ruling party is riding Turkeys brilliant people to ruin. He baits Israel from Peres to Netanyahu to no end.
12. "Killing" as in "Response to the massacre of Jews," right?
Simon ,   Israel   (11.19.12)
-- Which has been going on ever since Jews set foot on this land. The death of children is horrendous, but that is a direct result of Hamas' unceasing fire from densely populated areas, with Gaza being a very crowded area. Installing rocket launchers in the hundreds, and shooting from those areas at civilians on the Israeli side, triggers the IDF to neutralize those launchers by bombing them from the air. This, at times, unfortunately costs the lives of those who in and of themselves have nothing to do with Hamas, which plays very well into the Jihadist worldview of Hamas and its affiliates, whose statements like "we love death just as much as they [on the Israeli side] do life" we've been hearing in video segments on YouTube, etc. Put differently: Turning a whole people without its consent into a nation of Shahids, and murdering without a trial those "cooperating with Israel," as was reported in the New York Times a few days ago.
13. so speak the islamist leader of
Arctodus Simus ,   Fort Yukon-Alaska   (11.19.12)
the barabarous Turks who slaughtered 1.5 million armenians and killing thousands of Kurds per year. People living in glass houses shouln't throw stones. Anyway who care what ErDogman says..
14. Is this guy for real ??!!!
chaya ,   central holy land   (11.19.12)
I invite him to stay anywhere in the south - Beer Sheva, Sderot, Ashdod - anywhere !!! just come over and stay, then we talk. Otherwise, i suggest that he keeps his opinion to himself !
15. ...and this country is still part of the NATO
Walt ,   Georgia, U.S.A.   (11.19.12)
Point granted Erdo, there is no moderate Islam!
16. Pre election stunt
Philip ,   Afula, Israel   (11.19.12)
I dont think so, the situation was impossible to live with so Bibi and his team decided to put and end to it. Any country that honours itself would have done the same. So far things are working out well and this reflects the good planning and execution. However if things turn sour and if a ground operation results in too many deaths then obviously it will not be good for Bibi in the upcoming elections. I am not a Likud supporter, but I certainly do NOT accuse Bibi of iniating some pre election stunt. I think he and his team are doing a very good overall job and under difficult circumstances. Generous credit is deserved when its due.
17. What does he really want?
shrinkDave ,   Miami USA   (11.19.12)
I wonder what Ergoschmeck really wants, and am looking for an analysis of his true political moves. I'd appreciate if any readers know of a sophisticated analysis of Turkey's severe anti Israel approach. Thanks.
18. Erdogan
HMS   (11.19.12)
Is this the same guy that murders Kurds with no stopping. The same that fails to recogize the slaughtering of Armenians?
19. Hypocrit Erdogan not even embarrassed
Ruben ,   Jerusalem   (11.19.12)
So if 1 or 2 missiles come from Syria to Turkey it's OK to retaliate, but Israel is supposed to receive more than 100 missiles and do nothing. it seems that Mr Erdrogan only cares about moslem blood. Interesting double standards
20. Mr Edorgan,
Gregg ,   Haifa, IL   (11.19.12)
Those who associate Israel with terror, ignore the mass killing of Israelis and terror from Hamas
21. On the same token, Erdogan, because
Perfect vision   (11.19.12)
you constantly punish, bomb and indiscriminately kill the Kurdish people, your country, Turkey, is also a terrorist state. Even worse than that, Syria is an arch-terrorist state. But most of all, your Arab buddies in the Gaza Strip are the worst possible terrorists and despicable criminals for launching rocket after rocket onto civilian urban and non-urban Jewish populations. Just for curiosity, what would you call your Gazan friends had they launched all those thousands of rockets on Ankara?
22. Turks should wake up
Savid ,   Israel   (11.19.12)
"The acts of the leader are the acts of the nation. If the leader is just, the nation is just; if he is unjust, the nation too is unjust and is punished for the sin of the leader" Zohar
23. at least one thing is sure when Erdogan
bruno ,   stlouis   (11.19.12)
speaks: he lies always 100%. he is almost perfect in his evilness.
24. Is Erdogan OK?
Tim ,   Brighton   (11.19.12)
Yet again he has misjudged and missed an opportunity to take centre stage and be at the epicentre of Mid East events It might look as if Morsi might have eclipsed Turkey in its pivotal role at mediation Erdogan has placed Turkey on the sideline of history by playing the favour currying cheer leader for Hamas whilst booing and hissing at Israel and doing NOTHING to use its offices and position to bring the sides together Blatantly putting politics and opportunism above peace Whats happening on the ground with lives lost is FAR FAR more serious than that This is not the Turkey I know and respect
25. "the mass killing of Muslims"
tiki ,   belgium   (11.19.12)
The moron only forgot to say "by other Muslims", but that's why he's a Turk.
26. this is unfortunate
anton ,   istanbul   (11.19.12)
remarks made by Erdoğan, blame falls on Hamas in this incident they started firing rockets and any country has the right to defend herself in face of such attacks This is not helping to anyone Turkey should not take side in israeli arab conflict
27. erDOGan
Edy Burak ,   miami , USA   (11.19.12)
erDOGan is a hayvan
28. Erdogan the new Messiah?
Talula ,   Israel   (11.19.12)
Wasn't he shooting back at Syrians who were firing bullets across the Turkish/Syrian border? That was just a few rounds of ammo, what would the 'peace' loving Erdogan done if Syria were firing rockets over, day in and day out? What about the violation of air patrols close to Syrian airspace? He hates Bashar al-Assad's regime and they aren't even fighting. He's another stupid blind asshole who thinks he can walk on water - got news for you, asswipe.
29. What about Syria?
Bn ,   Hrsch   (11.19.12)
How many tens of thousands are being massacred in Syria Mr Erdogan and Arabs are sitting watching ......
