Israel has a very weak leadership. From now on, every "leader" in Israel is nothing more than a scumbag. They are all the same banana. I am sorry for all the loss of life and property. Only God protected Israel.

The main problem is Iran. Hamas and Hizbullah are only minor ones. If Israel decides to attack Iran (either with or without Mullah Obama), the Iranian surrogates can be dealt with in the same event. Otherwise, Israel is done and you can surrender as well to your neighbours in the west.

If this was truly just about politics and not actions taken for national preservation for its people, then Israel leadership and people lost either way. Inactivity...because of fear of two many casualties before the election, is perhaps wise; however, if waiting comes at the expense of further civilian deaths, then not acting now is just as dangerous an option. If the latter happens, the current leaders will lose, and justly so! Cowardice just breeds contempt from the enemy, that's why Israel is in a constant-state of war, because its leaders' are unwilling to do what's necessary to win; thus, the enemy will always feel emboldened to push the envelope; deterrence becomes just a myth. Lieberman said what he said for a good reason. He knows that the Israeli leaders, ie Bibi and Barak are spinless cowards, however - sooner or later (hopefully sooner) Lieberman will be Israel's Prime Minister and than the game with Hamas will be played very differently and with a very different end for Hamas. Israel needs new leaders that aren't afraid to do what it takes to win this war against terrorism.
