I've just came back from a pro Israel protest held this afternoon in Avenida Paulista, Sao Paulo's main avenue and financial center. There were about 400 people there, proudly standing for Israel, waving white and blue flags, singing Hatikva, Osse Shalom, Hine MaTov, prayinf for the well being of all chayalim, making and listening to speeches and showing their support for the Jewish state in this difficult time. Our community has about 70,000 people, against 2 or 3 million Jews in NY area - but we've managed to gather many more demonstrators, even though we're 35 times smaller. I wish Ynet and its readers could realize that the Jewish world goes much, much beyond the US community.

As someone who is currently in NY for 2 more weeks, I would have been more than happy to go to a pro-Israel demonstration. I have no idea who is organizing these things BUT they sure aren't publicizing. The number attending may have been much larger if people knew about it!!!

These losers need to go To Europe, there they will fit in with all the anti-semites and the appeasers anyone who is against Israel and lives in the US needs to get out

In pro-Israel rallies, everybody looks positive, smiling, beautiful and radiant. In anti-Israel rallies, everybody looks like a zombie, with nothing but blind hatred in their eyes.
