another round of IDF will leave you flattened!
2. Arabs trying to provoke a response....
David ,   Hartford USA   (11.23.12)
and they got it. Now they run to to Cairo (of all places) to claim that Israel violated the agreement. This is Hamas strategy at its best: always try to make Israel look bad. But it doesn't work. Even Morsi will see through this.
3. terrorists is a terrorists
alfredo ,   philippines   (11.23.12)
certified traitors, liars, morons. God forgive me for what i said. But they were not true to their words they broke the silence again and now this is the time to invade Gaza

5. Why have they detained the man who crossed into Israel?

6. Orders from Canada: Shoot to kill please.
habibi ,   montreal canada   (11.23.12)
these palestinians deserve nothing but the best. they should all be in heaven right now with their 72 virgins. flatten the shit out of gaza, kill everyone, Israel will have less problems and the palestinians will be happy in heaven with their 72 virgins. Everyone wins.
7. israel can hold its own and shoujld not fear morsi
jimrun   (11.23.12)
as big as morsi talks, he should well remember that israe can hold its own. If he were to mobilize and fight israel, then any territory israel gained would be permanently annexed to israel like all of sinai and gazans would be finished off and transported south. so israelis should not be quaking int heir boots.

10. #4 - i guess you're a Muslim ...
michael redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (11.23.12)
because your post makes no sense :-( What was Israel supposed to do? Let 300 people cross the border? We won't expect a normal response ;-)
11. Fair reporting
media watcher ,   Jerusalem Israel   (11.23.12)
In this English report of the YNet piece in Hebrew, there is no mention of the fact that 300 Palestinians approached the border fence and some caused damage while trying to breach it. The IDF first shot in the air, then at their feet. YNet- Why this descrepancy between the Hebrew version and the English tale, which seems to lay all the blame on Israel?
12. IDF why did you break the ceasefire!?
Ben Stein ,   Israel   (11.23.12)
I am an Israeli and I am ashamed. IDF broke the cease fire. This is a despicable act by our government and military. Why??? Netanyahu must go!
13. #4
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (11.23.12)
You look stupid because that is what you do best.
14. Instigators
Toby   (11.23.12)
Arab mentality: Instigate, instigate, instigate...then when you get whacked (rightfully so), resort to cursing and accusing. Why are these people even around in today's civilized world?????
15. Cease Fire
(11.23.12)
The Cease Fire was broken long before this, those idiots have still been sending rockets. A deal is not a deal with them.
16. #12!
israel   (11.23.12)
YOU tell the IDF exactly HOW they should handle 300 rampaging Palestinians trying to cross into Israel! Good gawd!
17. #12 - Ben Stein aka I'm a muslim pali moron
Noel Nesor ,   Israel   (11.23.12)
The ceasefire was broken when 300 armed terrorists ( sorry- protesters with guns) broke through the protective fence, thus violating Israel's sovereign territory and the terms of the ceasefire. Well done again the IDF. Every violation of the ceasefire must be dealt with immediately.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.23.12)
Well, first of all, Hamas violated the cease fire minutes after it went into effect by firing additional missiles into Israel. Israel demonstrated a great deal of restraint and did not respond. But hostile combatants attempting to rush the border is not covered by the cease-fire. It is, however, covered by all known precepts of international law -- you do not cross borders unless you have a legitimate visa or permission. The ersatz "Palestinian" terrorists had neither. There isn't a single country in the world that would not have shot those attempting to cross into Israel illegally, and most would aim considerably higher than an individual's legs. Do you know what this tempest in a teacup really is? I will tell you. It is a bit of stock-taking by terrorist elements in Gaza, who realize that they lost both the shooting war and the propaganda war. In fact, they were highly embarrassed by the phony photos they shopped to the world -- like the picture of the dead little girl who turns out to have been murdered in Syria three weeks ago. So they're looking to provoke a confrontation. Well, they got one, but it doesn't fall under the terms of the cease-fire. In case you are unaware, Israel has an absolute right to protect her borders, including the use of deadly force. But you, sir, are no Israeli. I don't even believe that you are a Jew.
19. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.23.12)
Only if you think that a sovereign state does not have the right to defend its borders, including the use of deadly force. Try entering the United States by rushing the fence which separates Mexico from the United States. Watch what happens, and be sure to let us know where to send flowers for your funeral.
20. #12
jake ,   jerusalem   (11.23.12)
The fact that you're Israeli says nothing- there are a lot of Israelis who are the most anti-Israel people on the face of the planet, and I'm assuming you're one of them also! If you were in charge of the military there would be no more Israel in a matter of hours! How is a government supposed to act when hundreds of Palestinians who are violating sovereign borders refuse to back down and are causing damage? But I'm sure you wouldn't mind them rampaging in to Israel and managing to kill a few children or kidnap some soldiers,
21. Big mistake by IDF
David Hirsch ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (11.23.12)
We have violated the ceasefire. Why does the Likud and IDF put us at risk? This is unfair and only hurting us Israeli's who want peace.
22. To: No. 21
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.23.12)
No, Israel has not violated the ceasefire. Israel is protecting her borders and preventing those who wish to cross into Israel illegally from doing so. All known precepts of international law allow a sovereign state to use deadly force to protect its borders. The ceasefire does not extend to controlling who may or may not be allowed to enter the sovereign State of Israel.
23. HATE HATE HATE
Chen ,   Shanghai   (11.23.12)
This is only what I read in these blogs haha some HATE here, some HATE there, ugh!... way to go Israelis and Palestinians. Keep promoting hate and your low retrograde ideas in our planet.
24. illegal crossing
to No.19 ,   Creel, Mexico   (11.23.12)
haha I've done that lots of times!! Still alive! :D and hundreds of people still do it every day, although rates have diminished since our economy has been improving. And with our economy growing faster than yours, in a few years we'll have Americans crossing to Mexico. No problem everyone welcome hermanos y hermanas! long live Israel!
25. Israel army did a very good job,
Abu Yousuf el Dugri ,   ME   (11.23.12)
Riots will not be tolerated and Pals should not test the army.
26. To # 21
(11.23.12)
You're stupid.
27. Video is powerful
Tovli ,   Florida,USA   (11.23.12)
I don't doubt the veracity of the IDF statement of events, but many people faced with conflicting accounts of events are not so sure. Video makes strong statements in the court of public opinion.
28. What "WE" ?
bad Assed Jew ,   United States   (11.23.12)
Israel has NOT violated the cease fire. Some 'infiltrators' challenged the IDF at the security fence between Gaza and Israel you brainless twit. Who but no brained pals do such stupid things? And who but one even dumber ( as yourself ) posts such nonsense?
29. Fence not enough
Uncle Samuel ,   Florida, US   (11.23.12)
Forget fences. Build a wall and have a no-entry buffer zone. Advance Notice of Set policy - First time unlawful attempted entry into Israel: 1 year prison and manual labor, Second attempt - 2 years and so on.
30. #,Yes, you should really be ashamed,
(11.23.12)
of yourself.
