Enough jesiwh blood has been shed. Something should be done, preferably sooner than later. Itzhak Rabin knew this, I think the vast majority of Israelis will acknowledge this.

The only cure for missiles is a strong deterrent which means massive civilian bombings when Israeli civilians are attacked- an eye for an eye. Bibi-the-clown is too scared of losing his lucrative speaking engagements in the USA and Europe ($150K a speech) to do what it takes for real deterrence. All these anti missile systems will be surely defeated by a massive attack of thousands of missiles of every kinds simultaneously. The Arabs and Iranian are laughing at Israel thanks to Bibi-the-Clown.

Our so called allies are trusting us to develop a system to prevent ourselves against incoming small missiles as well as large ones. This means that we will have not only the means to precision pin point attacks against enemies and to defend our borders against attacks, but also technology that can be $old to allie$.

Without Iron dome in the last campaign, Israel would have had to sweep Gaza from east to west to protect our citizens. Thousands of lives were saved by it.

Iron Dome is expensive with interceptors costing $50,000 a shot but this one cost $1 million a shot. Unlike Iron Dome this is designed to replace the old Hawk short range missile defence system to shoot down things like cruise missiles as well as the medium range things Hezbollah have about 40,000 of that can hit most Israel. Iron Dome is not designed to shoot down those sort of rockets so in a war with Hezbollah its use would be limited. We cannot though use Magic Wand to try protect homes the way we did in Gaza and limit its use to defending strategic targets because at $1 million a shot how many can we afford to have in the country let alone being able to use them to defend homes? We only have about 100 Arrow missiles in the country which are not much more than $1 million each and they are more important than this because they shoot down Iranian ballistic missiles. We need to find cheaper solutions for missile defence because these missiles just get more and more expensive until they get to expensive to be of any practical use.
