The Arab Spring. Grand promises of democratic reform. Remember that? It wasn't so long ago. I wonder who is more deluded -- the Arab people, who do not seem to realize that democracy and Arab society are diametrically opposed concepts, or Western leadership, who believe that democratic change in the Arab world is possible. So now, Egypt -- and the West -- are stuck with something ten times worse than Mubarak. At least Mubarak did not allow terror to take hold in the Sinai -- Morsi welcomed it. Morsi will allow Egypt to be used as a smuggling conduit to Gaza, which is really rather foolish, because Israel will make quick work of that .... Thinking back to Hussein Obama's piece of performance art in Cairo .... see what you did, Mr. President? Are you still proud of your handiwork? The Congress of the United States will act quickly to cut off military aid and cash aid to Egypt. Then, the real fun starts. When the people start to go hungry ... and that's coming.

Regardless, I m really glad that Egyptians are taking it to the streets, as a Coptic I 'd hate to see Egypt as the next Iran but if the American adminstration think they can control the brotherhood, they are in for a big surprise !

I will always support what you write, But Please do not blame Obama for his speech in Cairo, it was written by American Jews, Shamefully. they still support him and think he is the Messiah

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.26.12)
Oh, I don't support Obama and I certainly do not think he is the messiah. By the way, Obama's Cairo speech was written by Jon Favreau. I believe he attended the College of the Holy Cross. Not Jewish. Thank you for your kind words.
