At 70 it is reasonable for him to retire. Hopefully, he'll write a good manual for his followers on how to manage IDF well and how to be an excellent Defense Minister. He had just the right personality for these two jobs, but not for the job of a Prime Minister. He'll be remembered and missed for a long time.

I told everybody here that Bibi and Barak were unwilling to do what it takes to create a deterrent in Gaza because they wanted to avoid any prosecutions overseas so they can persue their lucrative public speaking career in Europe and USA. This man has gone back on his word so many times, like a typical leftist; I find it hard to believe he'll leave completely. While hard experience doust the flames of his radical leftism, tempering it with more measure, he is still nasty towards nationalists and people who have a REAL passion for Jews and Israel. It would be nice if he left any and all fields where he might be of influence on politics...this is good for Israel.
