nigel ,   London   (11.28.12)
It amazes me that someone who can read cannot see the absolute hypocrisy of what they are writing. So freedom to you means ethic cleansing of Jews and Christians ? Why is there a Mosque built in Jerusalem - because the prohoet Mohammed ascended to heaven from there. When in heave, he is said to have met the patriarch of our 2 religions Abraham and Moses. You will also note that teh structure was built upon the site of the Jewish temples. why is the Dome still there ? Because Jewish leaders respect Islam and decided not to knock it down as they could have done after 67. Your problem is this - you do not know what freedom means unless it is solely for you. You do yourself no favours by saying you want to ethnically cleanse Jews out of their country. Last person to try that was Hitler. Are you by any chance related ?
62. Taqiyya and Kitman is in play
Galut ia ,   Selah   (11.28.12)
Quote... if it received assurances that the Palestinians would return to peace talks and would not seek to prosecute Israelis through the International Criminal ... and islamist proponets will do what ever it takes ... and that includes Lying (Taqiyya and Kitman)

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.28.12)
Now, we annex Judea and Samaria and repatriate all those illegal Arab squatters to Jordan, country of their citizenship. Who's going to stop us? Denmark? Norway?

Alllan ,   US   (11.28.12)
I am not dreaming sir. The facts on the grounds tells me the opposite of what you are writing here. Israel had its chances to transfer the Arabs from their land and failed twice. The world is watching and your wishes are nothing but of an angry loser dreams. BTW peace is far in the middle east because of fanatics and racist people like you. Peace, Salam, Shalom.
67. Hague seeks assurances from Fatah.
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (11.28.12)
If Hague really thinks that he can believe and trust assurances given by Abbas and his mendacious Fatah clique,I want him shuffled out of the government next time Mr Cameron has a cabinet reshuffle. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
68. Palestinian Ocupation and statehood

70. "Not to persue Israel for war crimes"
mufflets ,   Dublin   (11.28.12)
Is William Hague suggesting that Israel may be guilty of war crimes?
71. @Nigel #61
emanon ,   USA   (11.28.12)
Where in the koran is this mentioned? Followers of mohamed have *NO* calim to jerusalem by theor own admission. It is an article of their faith that the koran is totally factual, yet Jerusalem is never mentioned. Therefore, if what they believe is true, Jerusalem is not worthy of mention . . . unless of course they are not telling the truth. It is like the two year old that wants the shiny toy they don't have only because their brother does have it.
72. #52. Absolutely correct. Palestine is forever fictional.
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.28.12)
We've heard all the caterwauling from fictional "Palestinians" before. It never has amounted to anything and never will. Palestine is forever fictional. However, now is the time for Israel to officially prove this is the end of the road for fictional Palestine. Annex Judea and Samaria. Prepare concrete transfer plans for "Palestinians" to get them out of our land forever.
73. Hanan Ashrawi Sounds LIke She's Threatening The World
emanon ,   USA   (11.28.12)
Then again, that's the arab way to win approval: intimidation. The claim is utterly baseless. Further, historically, what one arab faction proposes, all the others oppose. Read T E Lawrence: nothing has changed in the intervening years since he wrote "Pillars of Wisdom".
74. Shows just how much England changed since th election
Zionist forever   (11.29.12)
Traditionaly the Conservative Party which is currently in power were pro Israel and Labor had more anti Israel idealists. This Conservative government has not shown any sign of being pro Israel and whilst they are supposed to be euros skeptics they seem to have been much more pro EU than pro US which they have been traditionally. Not so long ago if the US said vote against they would have said no problem we will be against, the EU is pro Palestinian bid and the UK IS. The good old days seem to have bee under the Labor PM Tony Blair who was quite pro Israel although of course the Tony Blair who is Middle East weave envoy always seems to come down in favor of the arabs.
75. Number 12 British Mandate for Palestine
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (11.29.12)
Among the reasons Churchill agreed to end Jewish settlement on the East Bank or Transjordan was that he wanted to produce a Jewish state with a clear Jewish majority and that was more likely on the West Bank. During the 1920's Britain was prepared to accept as many Jews as arrived in Palestine, but most Jewish refugees chose to go to the USA, leaving an Arab majority even on the West Bank. By the mid to late 1930's when Nazism took over Germany, America rejected Jewish refugees even when the official quotas were not filled, and Britain wrongly gave in to mounting Arab pressure to close the gates to Palestine. .
76. They dont need the UK vote
Nicbyte   (11.29.12)
What idiots, they don't even need the UK's vote who form the start sided with the US on this. There will be no conditions and the bid will be accepted by the majority of the UN members so suck it UK!!!
77. Salma @ 6
Moragh   (11.29.12)
Salma, do you HONESTLY believe that yourself?
78. Of course the Pals laughed in Hague's face
Dan   (11.29.12)
Promise to hold peace talks with israel? You must be joking. They've been offered a state a half dozen times and refused every time because it meant recognizing Israel. Now they will have the beginnings of a state without having to renounce their racist aggression. Well done UN!
