1. And why AP obliged to use Israeli press for war on Syria?
Miron ,   USA   (11.29.12)
Sure, Israel and Syria have history that looks rather sour, but Israel is not the one warring Syria today. So, why don't you take this business to US media? And while at it, what is our unemployment rate in US today? When did you publish any article about that?
2. Cutting off the Damascus airport

will accelerate the downfall of assad`s crimnal regime. No western country should accept to shelter the Bashar family, except Iran or Russia.

What you said is 100% correct, but, don't take too much comfort in his fall because the Obama backed muslim brotherhood will replace him and I don't think you will find them near as friendly to Israel as even assad is. The fact is, Israel is being surrounded by them. Egypt, Gaza, Lebanon, and now Syria! And now, the UN will give Yudeah and Shomron to them. You will be in my prayers. I fear for all my Israeli brothers.

You can't fight a war without communication and you cut off your enemies ability to communicate but your own people can you can beat them. The army have radios and don't need cellphones or internet but the rebels rely on civilian forms of communication that Assad can cut off. I am amazed Assad didn't do this long ago along with cutting off other basics like electricity and water in rebel strongholds, old fashioned siege tactics. As for closing Damascus Airport how exactly is that going to help topple Assad, maybe the tourists will stop coming to visit the sites of Damascus & Aleppo?

Are there going to be protests from the illuminated left and the Nobel prizes?
7. To: Nora at No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.29.12)
Neither Iran or Russia are Western countries, dear. But there's a very good chance that the U.K. will take them if they end up fleeing. Asma al-Assad was born in the U.K. She's a British subject.
8. Only idiots would fly to syria, insanity to go there.
