On that basis, archaeological evidence would suggest that the descendants of the Celtic population (present-day Welsh and Cornish) who were in Britain prior to the Anglo-Saxons have every right to expel the latter back to Germany. You want to negate ancient times and deal with the present day realities only. Today's reality is that Israel is militarily in a position to re-claim it's "ancient and historical lands". Israel enjoys not only military strength, but also because this "ancient' land is historically part of Israel and this is reality. Today in the "present reality", both the ancient and the present are intertwined.
