Ari ,   Argentina   (11.30.12)
2. another great day
bill ,   canada   (11.30.12)
step by step israel is being dragged into peace; these UN votes show how little support israel has; israel hates peace because war is how israelis define themselves; every bomb dropped on Gaza makes israel weaker more isolated; do any israelis see this
3. SUSAN RICE.
SJOERD VAN DER VELDE ,   HOORN NH, HOLLAND   (11.30.12)
INSTEAD OF USING HER CELL-PHONE, TO FACEBOOK, TWITTER OR WHAT SO EVER AT THAT MOMENT, SHE HAS TO DO HER JOB/HER WORK, FOR HER WELL-PAYED SALARY I THINK IT IS A BAD EXAMPLE FOR MANKIND TO WATCH, ALSO FOR THE U.S. TAXPAYER WHO PAYS HER SALARY.
4. Long Road To Peace
Zivron   (11.30.12)
Alot Blocks Peace Irans nuclear ambitions Islamic Jihadi Everywhere Palestinian right of return to Israel millions of people Jewish Securrity Realities as the Vast Minority in the region six million Jews a billion plus islami all in Ballistic Rocket Range. Will Palestine accept Jewish Troops in the Jordan Valley there will be attacks How will the Brainwashed abused Palestinian Refugees vote even if they go just to the Palestinian State which will have Seven Millions Israel will be obligated to insist they are committed to peace and not expansion into Israel .Israel will need a huge arsenal of weaponry to be safe a standing army of a million on solid wages plus a USA and NATO contingent as in Europe .Drones will fly over Palestine to check compliance there will be tactical nuclear weapons as in Korea the road is long and treacherous.

7. what a wortheless empty suit
Steve from Raleigh   (11.30.12)
No wonder Rice and Obama are joined at the hip. They're two of the most feckless lazy people to hold those roles.
8. What is she talking about? Declare and have state now!
Miron ,   USA   (11.30.12)
Israel took what was on the table and run away with it. She wants to go back before wars, expulsions and everything that happened? Field your Army Mrs. Rice.
9. The Free World has dwindled to 9 countries
BH ,   Iowa   (11.30.12)
138 countries are on record as formally endorsing a war of genocide to conquer a fellow UN member state. 41 are on record as complicit by their silence. The vote itself is meaningless - but it tells us all we need to know about those who voted.
10. If nothing has changed then why all the shouting?
Thomas the Doubter ,   USA   (11.30.12)
"Nothing has changed" is the refrain from US officials. Israeli political figures insist at the top of their lungs that the Palestinians have taken a step backward. If this is the case then why all the shouting? If, as Israeli officials claim, their adversaries the Palestinians are making a foolish move then let them. But of course we know this is not the case. More sand through the hourglass...
11. Palestine recognition
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (11.30.12)
This is but the first step. The final step will be the replacement of "Israel" by Palestine, perhaps via lawfare and BDS. This will take longer than military means, perhaps, but it will happen. However, the Palestine outcome is a certainty no matter the means.
12. If nothing has changed, then why...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (11.30.12)
...so upset, ambassador Rice? Why even bother commenting on it at all?
13. the USA will be on the wrong side of history

stude ham   (11.30.12)
and the idiot dips at the un think they've made history... it is far worse than hindenburg;s historical horror.
15. US: Resolution did not create Palestinian state
split ,   US   (11.30.12)
Yeah but our attitude and stance make us look like pariah - United States voted with Israel against recognition, joined by Canada, the Czechs, Panama, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru and Palau - This is a litmus test that proves beyond any doubt that our support for a little bully is destructive to our prestige and interests. We are a bunch of lemmings, today's vote brings us closer to the cliff. Harper can start packing, his term's length is at Her Majesty's pleasure, what did they promise the Czechs we'll find out soon ,...
16. Got pad on the back and screwed by Germans again ,...
split ,   US   (11.30.12)
It used to look so good yesterday ;),...
17. Nothing has changed
Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (11.30.12)
What Rice may have meant was that US foreign policy remains unchanged, and is just as inept and ineffective as ever.
18.  Palestinian state
David ,   Germany   (11.30.12)
Help me understand. Argue that Israel does not have a right to exist, fire hundreds of rocket in to Israel, start almost another war and the reward is?? Good move Muslim led UN!! The day there is another state within a state is the beginning of the end of Israel. You cannot coexist with a neighbor whose only purpose in life is to destroy you.
19. International Criminal Court
sonia ,   london england   (11.30.12)
The next step is for Palestine to take Israel to the ICC and prosecute it for the war crimes it has committed against the Palestinian people for the last 64 year s.
20. U.N. vote
jack ,   NETANYA ISRAEL   (11.30.12)
You mean, BiBi , Lieberman and Feiglin are joined at the hip, look were it got them !!!
21. Rice is right
Amerikaner Yid ,   USA   (11.30.12)
Nu, what has changed? That Pal's rep at the UN will now get a different title? Big whoop. He still has to undergo Israeli border control if he wants to enter the West Bank. Just like Ben Gurion said back in the day "Oom-shmoom." (For those not in the know "UN - shmooen.") Just as usual what matters is what the Jews in Israel actually do, not what a bunch of lazy, overpaid do-nothings do at the UN.
22. Susan Rice (b)
(11.30.12)
Susan Rice is a twit. You would think that the Us admin would have learnt after the other Rice. Look at this for a dumb thought-(quote): "and find a way to live side by side in the land they share........" Israel keeps stealing the land that they are supposed to share! Onward to the ICC Palestine, and convict the criminal Israel for land theft, apartheid policies, murder, and many other crimes against humanity!
23. Well Spoken #19
World Citizen ,   the world   (11.30.12)
The tide is shifting and their will be a free contiguous Palestine on the entire West Bank with Gaza as a port. It is only a matter of time The more USA and Canada fight it the more they become isolated from the world. But there is hope. A new reality is being created in North America. Many Canadians and Americans are seeing what Israel is and they don't like what they see. No decent, rational person likes racism and apartheid. They will be the leaders of their countries in a few short years. So the handwriting is on the wall. Change or perish. It is in your hands.
24. #23
(11.30.12)
My thoughts exactly. But will the jews see the writing on the wall?? No, I doubt it. X
25. Peace is possible, but depends...
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (11.30.12)
on mutual recognition and respect among the both neighbors. We must remember 1947, when UNO voted for the partition of "Old Palestine", and Arab leaders refused it. If they accepted, instead of choosing war, there wouldn't be the continued conflict, with so awful consequences. A good agreement must be secure and honoured. Redrawed borders, no "rights of return", no "settlements" out of Israeli territory, a corridor joining Gaza to the rest of Palestinian territory, and other necessary clauses. We, true Democrats and Christians, do hope for it. Israel can never be endangered and Arab Palestine must also exist as a serious and responsible State.
26. #2 bill

Gary ,   Sydney, Australia   (12.01.12)
"Many Canadians and Americans are seeing what Israel is and they don't like what they see. ....So the handwriting is on the wall. Change or perish. It is in your hands." The writing on the walls about Israel is a constant stream of outrageous slander. What is it about "The Jews" that fools so many people. After centuries of belief in obvious lies, prove that this time you haven't been suckered again.
