31. Why dont these EU countries support a Kurdish state
Dan Kelso   (12.01.12)
The answer is Arab oil money and 22 Arab countries. These same U.N countries would pass a law that Israel has to live under Sharia law and that Israel has to let in millions of Arabs if that was put before the U.N general assembly. They would pass this because of Arab oil money and the fact their are 22 Arab countries. Did you ever ask yourself, why these same countries don't recognize a Kurdish state in Iraqi Kurdistan?
32. '48 Borders, the same ones that the
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (12.01.12)
Arabs ignored each and every time they had attacked Israel & that includes the Greenline at Rhodes, which the Arabs contued to ignore when the attacked, in each every war they started
33. The Seven State Solution
David Shapira ,   Cambridge, MA   (12.01.12)
The idea that there a 'two-state' solution is a fiction as there will no feasible way to prevent the current march of expansionist Islam throughout the Levant. A Seven State federation is a realistic alternative. To begin with Gaza and the West Bank Christian populations should have their own state. Part of Lebanon and Syria should be part of the federation, with descendants of refugees free to return. The Sauds should return Mecca to the Hashemites, and a Syrian-Jordanian entity created in the north part.
34. He is wrong
withheld ,   Copenhagen   (12.01.12)
Palestine did not exist after 1948. The West Bank and Jerusalem was the Jordanian border with Israel. That's a fact. So when Israel pushed back the border to Jordan in a war, then what does this land become? 1) Disputed terretory 2) Israeli land 3) A Palestinian state?? The more lies the world tells itself the more confused and chaotic this place will become.
35. The 2 state solution - Palestinian Jordan & Israel
Scott ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (12.01.12)
36. 5
(12.01.12)
This PS no 5 writes QUOTE: Next time we will get back 1948 lands by force. Wrong , next time if there is a war, and Jordan will join the war (like last time in 1967), Israel will capture all of Jordan and Israel will annex Jordan, then you Arabs can sit on it.
37. Only after Abbas and PLO held accountable.
Cynic ,   USA   (12.01.12)
38. Don't talk to the bum!
Reuven   (12.01.12)
39. Abbas is right
REAL vision ,   USa   (12.01.12)
The palestinian state of mind is occupied...With hatred for life. Abbas' problem is the lack of morality of the palestinian people that have enslaved themselves toward hatred of life and of glorifing death
40. #20 Unless you are a native
Yaara ,   Israel, Czech Republ   (12.01.12)
Unless you are a native indian, shut the f.. up.
41. A 2-state solution
Jonathan ,   Berkeley, CA USA   (12.02.12)
Gaza's Hmas believes in a 2-state solution: Hammas and PLO. Unfortunately Israel is not part of that solution! Also: There is no such a thing as West Bank. West Bank of what? It was part of Jordan. Jordan called it trans-Jordan. And Jordan was created by the British who sent the Hashemites up from Mecca after the Hashemites lost Mecca to the Sa'ud.
42. Turks left behind after 1917 who want land
Ado ,   Switzerland   (12.02.12)

43. #16, Dear Maurice
Chutia ,   New Delhi, India   (12.02.12)
Indeed, folks who do not toe the line of Israelis and the international jewry are all morons, idiots and needless to say, anti-semites. Please continue living in your make believe world. As for beggars in india, its a fact. However, we didn't create our country through a land grab operation in the name of some religious bullshit :)
44. #15, Sorry Ben
Yoho ,   New Delhi, India   (12.02.12)
It wasnt God, rather a hard kick from AH that gave jews the idea to grab palestine and create israel
45. abbas is a criminal imbezzler who has stolen millions
jack bauer   (12.02.12)

46. #13 Now, the Real Battle Begins
ltrail ,   United States   (12.02.12)
The battle belongs to Ha Shame. Because of G-d, Israel will win.
47. Mr. Abbas: A question or two?
shreff ,   Vienna VA USA   (12.02.12)
Now that you are a state, you need to be held accountable for your behavior since 1948. Like the ethnic cleansing of Judea and Samaria, like your little operation in Munich, like the first and second Intifadas. Is this a state with two governments? One in Ramallah and one in Gaza? Anyway, when are you going to sit down and negotiate, as you promised prior to the UN action?

solomon ,   bklyn   (12.02.12)
There was a Jewish nation there (in fact, two of them, one in Judea and Samaria). Colonialist powers never had a nation in the lands they occupied. Oops, I forget- facts don’t interest you, do they?
49. #5 ps
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.02.12)
We all need to live in peace. It would help immensely if you simply stopped trying to kill all the Jews, something you began (at least in modern times ) in the 1800’s, before Isreael was established. If you want more facts, look up ‘the Moslem conquest’.
50. #18 bill, #20 graczek - its a small world,
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.02.12)
where the two of you can post your drivel without bothering with facts or history. Keep posting; Shakespeare called it the interlude of humor.
51. Abbas guarantees...
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.02.12)
that Arab countries will recognize Israel?! Even the Saudis admitted they could not promise that with their Saudi “plan”. Let him keep his own promises first.
52. Flags; flags; and more Flags
Moragh   (12.02.12)
If it's flags the palestinians find important, I can supply them (no charge but postage) and they can live merrily for the rest of their lives, claiming to be members of all the most important countries worldwide.
53. Arab Refugees
JUDAH THE LION ,   JEWS FIGHT LIKE LION   (12.02.12)
Surely the European nation will say yes Israel should let the 7 million Arabs refugees into Israel. They will support the resolution. Forget about the refuges they are already dead and buried.
54. Raja India
AL QUDS ALYAHUDI ,   QUDS HAKA AL YAHUD   (12.02.12)
First settle your difference with Pakistan regarding Kashmire, then open your mouth, but in the meantime shut your mouth
55. #46 Dear Chutia
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.02.12)
Maurice did not say that folks who don't agree with Israel and 'International Jewry' (an interesting choice of words on your part...hmmm?) are all morons, etc. He said you are ignorant of facts. Judging by your post, he is correct. There was a Jewish nation in that part of the world (in fact, two of them, one in Judea and Samaria). Jews always lived there, even when there was no Jewish nation. Colonialist powers never had a nation in the lands they occupied. The arabs came later...most of them, much later. They also started all the fighting, as early as the late 1800's, well before Israel was established. Get some facts before you accuse others of living in a make-believe world.
56. #18 Bill-Canada - Stop talking start doing
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (12.02.12)
of course, you're going to have to leave the safety of your computer to do it
57. Israel will remain with Jerusalem
cyla stern ,   Woodmere,USA   (12.03.12)
Israel didn't want to go to war in 1967Four arab countries attacked Israel. Israel won the war and get back Jeruzalem. Why Israel have to give back what the last several tousands years belonged to Jewish people? It is ridiculus even to talk about giving this back to Palestinias.
58. The world speaks
Jevon ,   Canada   (12.03.12)
"Terrorists and idiots"??? "War" is the term applied to the oppression of the rich against the poor. Whereas "terrorism" is the term applied to the opression of the poor against the rich . There is plenty of blame to be laid against both sides. I truly hope that this new UN decision represents a new chance for peace in the region. The willingness to continue talks is a good sign; the announcement to "protest" the decision through new construction in controversial areas is quite the opposite....
59. #58 The world speaks...
solomon ,   bklyn   (12.04.12)
and the 'world', as you call it, made up of mostly authoritarian states, and those who also spoke with Chamberlain, is wrong. As are you. If you had any real concern for facts, you would know that the bid at the UN is a substitute for acknowledging Israel's existence. You would know that the 'Pals' are loathe to keep any agreement whatsoever. You would know that Hamas shoots first, hides behind their own, and then blames Israel. You would know the long history of the region which began with Jews, no arabs (who are from arabia), no Muslims. You would know that the new project approved by Israel is miniscule, related to the size of the WB (J&S), and would stay in Israel anyway. You would know that the arab way of compromising is "give us all we want, and then we'll talk" (a la Syria as well). You would know you know nothing of what you are talking about.
60. #58..You have no clue what are you talking about !
