This decision to take the money to pay the electric company was to punish Abbas for going to the UN but at the same time Israel has been providing the PA with power and turning a blind eye whilst they don't pay their bills for decades. Its Israeli taxpayers through higher bills who have been paying so Abbas can have free electricity and its time to get tough on the PA. Palestinians want a state then let them act like one and pay their bills like the rest of us do. We should be taking more of this money we collect to pay for other services that Israel provides free of charge like hospital treatment, water etc.
