1. We need better people in government...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A./Israel   (12.02.12)
I have always suspected that Lieberman was a thug. Israel deserves better...
2. lador
marv   (12.02.12)
tO To file indictments which wither away or fall apart because of weak witnesses indicates that lador's team did not assess the merits of various cases properly, which happens sometimes with prosecutors sheltered in government jobs. That so far, olmert has gotten out of almost every charge levelled by lador does not speak well of lador. Either you have something or not! We are not talking only if there person did the crime, but whether there is a reasonable prospect of conviction. I do not have a good opinion of lador period.
3. The prosecution did really well against Olmert.
michael redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (12.02.12)
And Lieberman is no Olmert. Guttman, who served in the National Fraud Unit for 21 years said the image of Lieberman portrayed in the press was very different from the man he had encountered in person. "The man is, in my opinion, the fastest-thinking suspect politician the police have had to face. He will come prepared". "Lieberman does not hide behind his right to remain silent. He won't confess, either. He will give full answers and send police abroad looking for evidence," Guttman said. "He does not stutter, and he is not like Olmert, saying he doesn't remember this or that. He has all the facts in his head, and he does not refer to documents when answering questions". Lador probably thinks that if the prosecution couldn't get a conviction with Olmert that they'd have zero chance with Lieberman.
4. #1 - You have judged Lieberman based on what?
michael redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (12.02.12)
Based on left wing journalists and a left wing judiciary? The same that got Obama reelected.
5. To nr. 1.- the one and only dear Sarah B.
Sjoerd van der Velde ,   Hoorn NH, Holland   (12.02.12)
So we can see that nobody is perfect. Did you vote yourself in the Israeli elections of 2009? Maybe you are the best person yourself for the Israeli government. I wish you lots of success.
6. Swinging fists after losing the fight
Shaul R   (12.02.12)
Very high-minded, indeed: after being unable to bring up any charges that would stck for so many years, Lardor is now taking to the media to beat his drum. That is truly in poor taste and dumb, unless he now plans to join Labor.
7. Who is the criminal here?
Arn ,   Yehud, Israel   (12.03.12)
Sour grapes!!! Lador is the criminal if he makes public accusations of criminality that he cannot support. I would like to see Liberman sue him for libel. That would be Justice well served. And I seriously doubt that the Sarah B. at #1 is the original version and the hero of these talkbacks. The true Sarah B. has style.
8. to 1
john Darren ,   cairns-Austraalia   (12.03.12)
You are an impostor-the real Sarah B supports Lieberman.
9. the real criminal.
michael Pielet ,   israel   (12.03.12)
There is a criminal here, its lador.
10. So do it already - get lesser charge of breach
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (12.03.12)
of trust - enough to put the dampers on Lieberman's political career!
11. #8 john Darren
Sarah B ,   U.S.A./Israel   (12.03.12)
Oh shut up John. How could I possibly support a thug? Unlike idiots like you, I support what is best for the state of Israel...
