Aharon ,   Rishon L'Zion   (12.03.12)
Hey Istvan, unfortunately Mohammed never went to any accredited prophecy school, so his degree is a shame. Due to these new revelations, Mohammed will now have to resign his position.
32. Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (12.03.12)
Yep. A guy who isn't himself a prophet is going to teach others to be a prophet? Maybe he should first learn to spell. Abel is spelled A-B-E-L. However secular, many in the West still seek the transcendent, and there are many seekers and "New Age" practitioners in a place like Tel Aviv.
33. $52 and hey presto you're a certified Prophet
Joseph ,   London UK   (12.03.12)
$52 and you're a prophet. My old university charges tens of thousands of $ a year for four years just to get a BA. For $52 you become a prophet which sounds a lot more cool. What girl won't fall for a guy who is a certified prophet?
34. Hogworts School of Prophecy, H Potter, Director [end]
Avi ,   New York   (12.03.12)
35. School of Profit
Ethan Schwartz ,   Eilat   (12.03.12)
The national sport is schools to learn nonexistent professions.
36. What a great idea! Time to start a Nazirite School.
Essie HaKohane ,   FL. USA   (12.03.12)
What a great idea for a correspondence school. Ten courses (and your money) and you are declared a prophet. It's time to start a Nazirite School. There hasn't been one since the day of Judges. The qualifications to enter is one must be really buffed up and have very long hair. Yes, for $52, you too can become a Nazir. And too imagine I have been trying to sell a bridge all these years.
37. Hallucinations are great!
Avi ,   NYC, USA   (12.04.12)
Reality, on the other hand, is a drag.
38. prophet school
Tim King ,   Gagetown, Michigan   (12.04.12)
What I would like to know is if they will offer a class over the internet? This looks very interesting to me.
39. What is the truth
Mel ,   USA   (12.04.12)
You can not be trained to be a prophet, you have it or not, only God can give this to you.
40. Prophets made by man vs made by God
Jacob ,   United States, MN   (12.04.12)
These people seem like New Age actors than Prophets. Isn't God the one to choose who is a Prophet and who isn't. Suddenly, man gets to make the decision? God ended Prophethood already according to Jews. We as Christians obviously believe it continued and was ultimately fulfilled in Jesus. However, both of us believe Prophethood will revive itself at the end of days, as spoken in the Book of Daniel. "Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge." However, should it be God Himself who administers the Divine Message or should it be Rabbis and men who decide who is a Prophet, who qualifies as a Prophet etc.? This is EXACTLY what Jesus preached against in fact. Men speaking on behalf of God, when God hasn't revealed anything to them.
41.  For it is written...
Rica ,   USA/ISRAEL   (12.04.12)
"And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions" . (Joel 2:28). People, before making "Stupid" comments, read your TANACH, know GOD, and let GOD be the judge if this idea is HIS or not. Be blessed everyone.
42. FOOL !.
Arn. ,   Sweden.,   (12.04.12)
Everything Divine starts with the Divine. This is a Man Made Effort trying to reach the Hevenlies , and will fail. You can only become a Prophet/The Mouth of HASHEM, by the calling to such a MIssion/Task, of HASHEM/HIS MOUTH HIMSELF. Arn.Sweden,
43. My country gets stupider every day
Dan   (12.04.12)
Hey guys, first let's shoot ourselves in the foot by announcing 3000 new settlement homes. Let's see, what could possibly top that for suicidal stupidity? I know! We'll convert even more of our young into gibbering religious idiots! THAT will show the world what we're made of!
44. Oh that will help them join the workforce
Zionish forever   (12.04.12)
What a load of old tripe, they should be learnign the basics and then go get a real job
45. Non-Prophet Judaism
Danny ,   London England   (12.04.12)
Judaism today is a non-prophet organization. Many Chabadniks suggest the Rebbe was a Prophet, with some justification. I suspect the Rebbe, however, did more than a ten hour course to achieve the level of a Prophet. A Prophet is a person throuigh whom G-d speaks to us. You can't buy that for $52.
46. Or as we call them in the 21st century...
Avi   (12.04.12)
Weathermen, bookies, and politicians. With about as much success, I'm predicting.
47. kafka dafka
eliwap ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (12.04.12)
Divination is probably strictly prohibited in Torah. Despite this.... Are the people entering the course going to undergo strict psychological exams to ensure that they are not paranoid? Will they undergo continuous psych evaluation to ensure that paranoia is not triggered? So... with thousands of profits trying to preach, how will we the regular guy distinguish the message from the noise? Oh... wait we have a "learned rabbi" who will tell us all that he has heard the word and Shmulik over there is correct while Shmulik over here is a false this week, but only on Tuesday when its raining. Every other day of the week, Shmulik over here is correct. Of course.... not on Shabat when the profits are forbidden to make profits for the man who has conned himself into thinking his ear has pierced the vale of Heaven when even Jacob in his dream could not.
48. #14
i ,   jerusalem   (12.04.12)
It is not the beginning of a cult, just one of the sad twists of an old cult. That cult is "chabads messianic stream" worshipers of a dead messiah,.
49. Deuteronomy 18:18-22
sean green ,   pasadena usa   (12.06.12)
I run into pentecostal "prophets" all the time. I give them this test. from Deuteronomy When I ask for a prophecy of the future I write it down and wait. Yet to have one prove himself a prophet. Nice fellows and I admire their love of G-d but still false is false.
50. I hope they study the great prophet Yeshu`a
Yurino   (12.06.12)
One of the greatest and most universal Jewish prophets of all time, you don't have to agree with everything he said, but it would be wrong to blacklist him.
51.  The messages of the prophets
tim ,   Eastvale,CA   (12.06.12)
The Prophets were focused like a laser on the RE-FOCUSING of God’s people. They called for the RE-GATHERING & RE-GROUPING of this privileged nation of Israel for the accomplishing of their God-given task. The prophets called the nation to repent of their idolatry & apathy. They urged them to turn from their injustice … the oppression of their brothers & their sexual perversions of all types and to return to their calling to become the missional community God had chosen them to be by bringing the message of salvation to the all nations. The messages of the prophets were all hope-filled invitations to “Return to the Lord,” yet at the same time they were warnings of judgment and calls to reformation to love God, love one another and to “Prepare the way of the Lord.”
52. Very bad idea
Stephan ,   Munich, Germany   (12.10.12)
and the shool should be closed again. If the Lord wants to send somebody, he picks him and he himself teaches him everything he must know. It isn't possible to train somebody for prophecy. And when the "pupils" hear what it means to be a servant of the Lord, nobody will want to do this job.
