Perhaps the teacher should have worn a better disguise. However, her private life has nothing to do with her competence as a teacher.

This is a case of the thought police. If the teacher's conduct in school was acceptable to the administration and the students learned the curriculum then anything the teacher does in private is no one else's business.

Maybe if her salary were high enough to cover more than just the basics she wouldn't need a second job. As long as she is a good teacher, she should not be punished for having a second job of any kind. At least she is working and not on welfare, as are many able-bodied people in Israel.

I have seen some teachers who did nothing, including teaching, but they had been at the school for years, so they were getting paid well and doing zero, while other great teachers who were really working hard were paid hardly anything. It may be time to revamp the payment of teachers, so the good ones will not have to resort to this type of work to make ends meet. I believe that most teachers in Israel work on the side, as a tutor (some with students from the same school they teach at, which is illegal.) I actually find that a worse crime than this one. But most teachers do follow the law and teach privately students from a different school than they teach at. Sadly, it is the only way many of them will be able to pay bills and eat.

In Israel educators are so lightly valued and underpaid that they must take 1 or 2 other jobs just to make ends meet. Its a shame what this teacher did in her free time, but its a bigger shame that she needed a second job at all.

What the lady does on her own time is her own business. It is neither illegal nor particularly immoral if it concerns consenting adults. The real issue is why she has to do it. If the pay for teaching were even reasonable it might not have been necessary. However, our lovely govt. will save on paying teachers, giving money to holocaust survivors, handicap benefits and at the same time piss it away on all sorts of stupid settlements in the territories. No wonder 1/3 of the people are below the poverty line; someone has to pay for the settlements.

She is wearing a mask so apart from the fact two guys recognised her voice nobody knows who she is so nobody even knows who she is. She is doing it at an officially licensed S&M club which I imagine is not illegal. I also imagine her school contract says nothing about her not being allowed a second job or her sexual habits outside of school are. All that does matter is she is a competent teacher who does the job she is paid for. The ones who were breaking the law were the students and the club because if they are still in high school it probably means they are underage and not allowed to enter these places so they shouldn't have been going there and the club should not have let them in. The only one who wasn't doing anything illegal was the teacher.

Maybe, some of the student's parents were afraid to meet that teacher there, privately… ...or, that woman - teachers have not a very high salary - studies in one of the universities around Ashkelon to get her degree as sexologist, a job, that pays very good. Of course in universities, like everywhere, you have theoretical and practical exams, so what… simple fieldwork and -research… ...or, she heard from her religious parents or from the rabbi that from time to time an educational tick with the ruler, hand or whip is not so bad at all for kids. Because she is an innocent girl, she has to learn it somewhere… again: simple field- and field research… Of course also I find it a strange combination: her job and her free time activity. Some parents are really shocked, others are certainly pure hypocrites… like everywhere in our society.

So I have two questions... 1) What were kids of student-age doing watching this TV show in the first place? 2) Did this give the Education ministry a wake-up call regarding teacher salaries?
