I am not a fan of the present Israeli Government, in fact there are a lot of governments in the world that I am not a fan of, including my own, but I am not sure what the connection is between the UN vote and the US voting against it. The settlement blocs, whether one agrees or not, is a response, one could argue, to the UN vote, and not the US. Of course, if Thomas is so arrogant to beleive that the UN and the US is the same thing, then one has to question a lot of UN policy and decisions, that has taken place over the years.

His analogy of the Iron Dome to a wall separating us from the Palestinians is pathetic. The system is a defensive measure against missiles and not a means of separating or isolating us from the Palestinians. What he wants is for Hamas to be a bit more successful at murdering Israelis so that we will feel the pressure. A true friend of humanity that puts his hope in a larger number of Israeli casualties.

I don't know why this guy is even important anymore. He is a has-been and the media outlet where he works is a has-been that lost any notion of impartiality and the public's trust decades ago. Based on his "Obama is the new God" theory, Israel should give up its 3000 year claim to its eternal capitol and the heart of the Land of Israel because it may somehow upset Obama and his plans to leave a legacy after 8 years of insanity.
