31. Netanyahu support for One State solution?
Gregg ,   Haifa, IL   (12.05.12)
So be it ! But then all Palestinians living in the West Bank must get full Israeli citizenship otherwise Netanyahu would be the head of an Apartheid State. Then, when all Palestinians will have full Israeli citizenship, they'll represent the majority and Jews will be a minority and Israel will never be able to call herself the Jewish State ! The world will never let Israel to deport Palestinians to Jordan.
32. His game plan
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (12.05.12)
No one should be surprised. Abbas (like Arafat before him) never intended negotiations to lead to peace. Rather, negotiations were to weaken Israel until he could strike to destroy the Jews. When Abbas received the UNGA recognition, he knew Netanyahu would react, and Abbas planned to call the reaction the "end of the peace" and then turn to the UNSC. Abbas played Obama for the fool, ruining his strategy if rapprochement with Islam and now forcing Obama to either support Israel in the UNSC or be responsible for genociding the Jews. Then again, Obama could force the UK and France to support Israel in the UNSC and cut of all funds to PLO/Fatah.
33. One presumes
Miche Norman ,   Hod Hasharon   (12.05.12)
One can only presume that the State attorney has peopel working on the cases to be presented to the ICC against the PAlestinian leadership for its war crimes, first and formost the Man from Munich.
34. Extend the red lines over Jordan
Avram Goldsmith ,   Toronto, Canada   (12.05.12)
35. Settlements
Franklin Paredes ,   Quito, Ecuador   (12.06.12)
Israelis are to settle their land, for as long as history teaches us, Judea and Samaria have always been part of Israel.
36. building
colim ,   building   (12.06.12)
There is no such a meaning as settlement except in the press lies, falsehood The americans settled in the USA many years ago
37. ABYSS
KB ,   US   (12.06.12)
Hey abyss...how about Israel kicks your butts all the way to cairo and the rest of you into jordan where you belong. Israel...Build baby build!!!
38. Why are people here under the impression the UN won't act?
David ,   Israel   (12.06.12)
People here think that Abbas running to the UN isn't a big deal, sadly I think it is because it is that bias of an organization. The UN are quick to act against Israel over construction, where at the very same time the atrocities in Syria and elsewhere go completely unabated.
39. Just like the famous "Red Line Presentation" at UN we need a
tom ,   tel aviv   (12.06.12)
"Short History of Middle East" done in the same simple but accurate way. Then the talk of two Peoples & two countries can be silenced and Arabs can choose to go back to where they came from..... The camels they've left there are waiting & longing for their masters. Add to that development of alternative energy sources and things can go back to normal: us here, Arabs in....Arabia! Abu Adolf Mazen can herd his goats in peace and tranquility (for a short period of time)
40. #2, James of Washington DC
Chaim ,   Arad   (12.06.12)
Thank you for such an intelligent post from 6,000 miles away safe and sound in your mothers basement. But let me ask you something. You said, "Any other country would call that an invasion." What does the North American Indian call it? Also while answering that, What does the Hawaiian people call it?
41. to # 20, there is a fourth option
basem ,   Jerusalem   (12.06.12)
More rockets on Tel Aviv More bus attacks More...... maybe then talks will go and acheive
42. 18. land acquisition by war is illegal
lydia ,   Brisbane   (12.06.12)
Nothing outside Israels unilaterally declared borders enshrined in the UN belongs to Israel. You cannot make silken purse out of sows ears and if the land ain't yours you can't build on it nor move your horde of illegal squatters onto it. The only stupid one is Israel who thought a 60Y illegal occupation in violation of 250 UN res.could gain legitimacy without the recognition of the Palestinian.
43. To #2
Bigizz ,   Israel / USA   (12.07.12)
To jogg your memory and remind you of history... The PA rejected a two state solusion. Instead they attacked and "invaded" the Jewish state...and lost the war... They wante to inhaliate the Jews... However PA and surrounding countries lost!!!!! When blood is shed and land is lost...You don't get it back... do you think is the Arabs won the 1967 war, they would give back something to the Jews?? Know country in the world should give anything back after they are attacket.. Today the news people are strong and will continue to thrive as a nation.. Arabs should of thought twice before attacking Israel...Today they still suffer from the decision of attacking Israel..
