31. How can they resist..
Passerby ,   NL   (12.07.12)
Since there is quite some tension between the nations at the moment, how can they resist not making the bird commute to London back and forth for a week on a commercial plane and after that fly it mach 1 through the desert over the weekend, throwing in some loopings, etc. Then send the bird on its way and wait for some puzzled science report - probably they'll realize the bird was in Sudan and for time being the attitude there is not okidoki towards the state of Israel (i mean there are worse ways of warfare than pulling subtle practical jokes back and forth..). Also much better than making a fool out of themselves not realizing it's a migration bird being studied (certainly after the Saudi's caught a bird with a similar transmitter last year, making the same mistake)
32. BEDBUGS
Ron ,   NY,NY   (12.07.12)
Beware every bedbug out there is a MOSSAD agent!! We have you surrounded. Only thing missing in photo is a kipah on the vulture and proof it has had a brit milah.
33. Remeber the Darfur genocide?
sean green ,   pasadena usa   (12.07.12)
Looks like they are done and Karthoum now controls those lands.
34. The Sudanese Are Dumber Than They Look
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville USA   (12.07.12)
Enough said.
35. He is actually a spy pigeon in disguise
Ron ,   Melbourne, Australia   (12.07.12)
We all know that pigeons had a long history as carriers in wars. The so called 'Vulture' is part of elite squad of pigeons who have been trained to disguise themselves as Vultures. This way no one will suspect the work done by the brave pigeons - such as the bombing of the facility in Sudan. I hope the Sudan government spy agency does not read this blog - I hate for them to discover the pigeon special forces vulture tactic.
36. 27, not Europe
AT4IL ,   Vienna, Austria   (12.07.12)
Shlomo, you are partly right. For sure such propaganda on "spying vultures" is not intended for EUropeans. Maybe some refugees, infiltrators. For Israel: Those researchers involved are really awesome, world-known experts in the field of bird migration, an interesting field in biology. This should be told more often to the world. The achievemts of bird migration experts from Israel are state-of-the-art. I will ask OH if the bird was killed. I am pretty sure it was. Killing of raptors is a problem of many Middle Eastern, North African states. Thank you for this report. LT,
37. to #3 Yes, but they also sodomized the
jason white ,   afula, israel   (12.07.12)
bird after killing it. Too bad the vulture was not armed with missiles. It was a suicide mission and his goose was cooked when he left Israeli airspace.
38. Wait until the Mossad lice arrive.

40. If they harm this bird ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.07.12)
... I will personally make sure that PETA and the Audubon Society learn of it.
41. To: Robert at No. 22
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.07.12)
Clone? The Sudanese? Sudanese science considers bloodletting to be advanced medicine. They are several millennia away from cloning.
42. Too funny! Maybe the device puts out tweets.
Carl ,   USA   (12.07.12)
Those wacky Muslims need to get some small victories. At least they captured a bird that previously passed through Israeli hands. Guess the little guy gets tired after those 600 km flights and has to land! The "birds" actually watching Sudan's every move are way more high-tech and completely out of reach...
43. The mission? Vulture droppings on Sudan govt.
bob k ,   orlando usa   (12.07.12)
44. Vulture and Jets
Davis ,   Cochin, India   (12.07.12)
The Opposition in Sudan was quick to mock the "spy bird" find: The country's Justice and Equality Movement featured the news on its website, asking: "How is it possible that the regime was able to detect one vulture, but was unable to detect the jets that bombed the arms facility?" Answer: Because People hunt and eat birds, not the jets that bomb.
45.  Mossad buzzards
daze ,   US   (12.07.12)
These birds are tough, they will never talk, unlike the Mossad parrots who spoke readily

In the meantime so many Sudanese are being taken care of in Israel..... This world is not a great place to live anymore.... I bought a one way ticket to Mars
50. YNET, are you having a joke on us with this tripe?
Cameron ,   USA   (12.07.12)
This bit of "news" for real? You conjured this foolishness up for a laugh, right? Though Muslims certainly have a crazy & irrational component to their psyche, this is just a bit too much, even for them.
51. Israeli fishes
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (12.07.12)
are also very suspicious. A lot of important naval secrets can be spied in the Red Sea by them.
52. this was very funny!
agokoy ,   cebu/USA   (12.07.12)
hahaha! I was thoroughly amused.
53. no peace possible
mehrdad ,   germany   (12.07.12)
muslim world is on paranoia and loses its brain when it comes to jews. jewish people must understand that they can not have peace with idiotic antisemitic people who make jews responsible for everything (the mossad shark, the spybirds in turkey and sudan, aids in ummah...). this people are the same kind of idiots who accused jews to spread pest in the dark age. we know how it ended for jewish people.

zionist forever   (12.07.12)
PETA and the Audobon Society will probably condemn Israel for so cruelly sending the bird to go spy and Abbas will threaten to take us to the ICC over it. The peachicks at the human rights protest in Tel Aviv will also condemn it because its harms the peace process.
57. Raising vultures
Green Baron ,   Bethesda   (12.07.12)
Vultures are smart birds. I know from personal experience. I raise them as a business venture. I have a contract with my home state and several surrounding stated to rent them out so they eat up road kill and save state governments gobs of money for cleanup jobs.

The biological drones should be fitted with a self-destruct device.
59. Sudan nabs...
Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (12.07.12)
For once I believe those guys in Sudan. The Mossad and the IAF are behind this operation. For sure. But a very high ranked Sudanese Mukhabarath-member, told me personally that there is also a NBC-aspect in the case. The by-the-IAF-sent-and-controlled vulture sprayed from behind his... at least … biological and chemical stuff on Darfur. IAF's and Mossad's information suggest that the entire hoopla is due to the use of very strong cigarettes by the acting government personnel. Again my source in the Sudanese Mukhabarath (SudMu): "Counter information and propaganda by this filthy.... organisation!" SudMu: "Jean-Pierre...." "Yes" "I have here good cigarettes, you want one....?"
60. LOL, #22 ! !
