1. this is the FOL movement
E. G. Marsch ,   Nahariya, Israel   (12.07.12)
The FOL movement--freaks, outcasts, and losers. According to the latest poll, the Meretz party will get ZERO SEATS in the Knesset in the next elections (they're now hanging on to three!). The right of anybody anywhere to come to Israel and be a citizen! However, when I see the Israelis in this ragtag gang of weirdos and misfits, I feel sad. Something went wrong in their upbringing or development; otherwise, they could have been constructive citizens of one kind or another--instead of members of this bizarre, bleating mob. I used to live in Tel Aviv and every now and then the FOL mob would march by in the streets with some imbecile beating a drum, shouting slogans so inane and infantile they would have embarrassed a troop of 1960s hippies.
2. what exactly do they call a human right here
zionist forever   (12.07.12)
ARAB WOMENS RIGHTS Go talk to the arab men don't moan about it. RACISM FREE ELECTIONS Whats that supposed to mean, arabs, religious, right, left, egotistical. They all have their own parties and everybody is allowed to vote if they have citizenship. RIGHT TO EMPLOYMENT I am sorry to all you neo communists but government is not the primary employer, the private sector is and if you want a job then you have to offer the potential employer something the other candidate doesn't have. ERITREAN ASYLUM SEEKERS These people entered the country illegally and they moan about the government calling them initiators. What do they call it when you enter illegally? They are also gusts of this country not out there demanding rights. Sure the country isn't perfect but its pretty good especially considering its young age ( 64 is not old ). improvements don't happen overnight, it takes time and revolutions lead to chaos not paradise. Comrades, infiltrators, peacenicks go home, your just causing a disruption and the residents of Tel Aviv have a right to peace and quiet and no traffic disruption.
3. Eritreans have no reason to strike
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (12.07.12)
they entered illegally in the first place, they have no Tudot to s how that they belong, theyre unwanted iinvaders
4. True Democracy
Norman Gellman ,   Rehovot   (12.07.12)
In a true full democracy this would be automatic and there would be no need for civial action
5. All these unsatisfied israelis
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (12.07.12)
should be sent to neighbouring Syria, to learn what democracy is there.
6. Let them sign an oath of loyalty to the state and convert...
Sara ,   Israel   (12.07.12)
then allow anyone wanting to do this to stay. Why not?
7. @5 Why should they be sent to Syria?
Gal ,   Haifa   (12.07.12)
Those people are Israelis and fight for their rights in their country
8. Oh BOO HOO, cry me a river !
Moshe ,   Usa   (12.07.12)
9. Illegals must go
Ron ,   LA   (12.07.12)
The illegal Africans must leave the Jewish state and the illegal Arabs must pack and ho to Abbas newly recognized PA state.
10. Long walk...
Amichai ,   Huntsville, US   (12.07.12)
"we are fighting for our lives against a brutal dictatorship in Eritrea". Hmmm...there are a whole lot of countries between Eritrea & Israel. Only the first adjacent country that's a signatory for refugees is required to give them asylum. Any country after that, these people are just illegal immigrants.
11. there's no such thing as human rights
sweeter ,   far away   (12.07.12)
12. To all protestors out there
David ,   Israel   (12.07.12)
While I admire and respect your right to free speech and demands for change, Every week theres a protest about something that Israelis have killed the protest movement because they happen so damn often no one cares to listen anymore. The huge and effective tent protest of 2011 died and it's legacy has been lost to the non stop protests on every subject that falls out of the sky
13. This protest does not demonstrate human rights
Tova ,   Canada   (12.07.12)
Demoz you cheated your way into Israel. You want civil rights - start with your country. Israel is not causing you any harm. Israel gave you freedom. So you want to protest civil rights - go back to where you came from and let the real people who follow due process. It's always people who cheat the system or Arab women against Israel. - Arab women protest the men in your society.
14. naive stupid people. mislead by their teachers
ralph   (12.07.12)
15. are not democrats. they do not know what democracy means
ralph   (12.07.12)
16. Rights, equality, and security
Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (12.07.12)
One of the sad facts of life is that Islam calls for death to the Jews, and its Mullahs call for the destruction of Israel. The consequences of that include a threat to Israel's security and the propensity of Israel to regard all Muslims, by virtue of their commitment to Islam, as a part of that threat. It is not within Israel's ability to change the Islamic policy, which does not attract very much world comment or criticism. Instead, Israel's reaction is criticized.
17. Dont like it here? Leave!
ej   (12.07.12)
I was many of the hundreds of thousands of Jews who left the USSR for Israel (via the US). My family lived in Europe for well over a millennium yet we decided to repatriate to our ancestral homeland, Israel. These so called asylum seekers are anything BUT that. they should be rounded up and sent back home or to another country that WANTS to take them in. As for the Arab women living here, they should blame their repressive, superstitious and misogynistic patriarchal society and NOT the democratic government for not allowing them to get a proper education and employment! Frankly speaking, they are also more than welcome to repatriate to Arabia from whence they came before the Islamic Arab hordes invaded our homeland and the region as awhole!
18. all propaganda - no substance
scott ,   ramat gan, israel   (12.08.12)
19. just a bunch of neo communists isn't that right comrades ?
