1. Eisenkot.

What was his record during the second Lebanon War? What is his record of leadership in times of war? He is not political, so what!
2. Eisencott good choice

generals have their roles in the military but when they cross into politics, they lose sight of israel national imperatives. A good example is ashkenazi who was a careful and effective general who certainly did not repeat the mistakes of halutz. He looks at the palestine issue strictly in terms of the drag that settlers place on the idf in combatting palestinian terror and the demographic question which ettinger says is arguable. He omits defensible borders, israeli national interests and israeli history. I suggest strongly that judean and samarian jews form an armed forces as soon as possible to police themselves and take care of arab intruders swiftly. Next arabs need to be educated that they are the foreign interlopers, most of whom do not know the facts. I doubt even abbas and meshall know the real facts of history and san remo. They think of their houses and turkish rule and assume that they were the originals. Out of respect for the arabs, they need to know the real history. Finally given the history of generals with bad political judgements which has not helped israel eg mitzna, sharon, barak, baidetz, ashkenazi, halutz, zeira I suggest a course in history and political affairs for all soldiers who want to go into political life as they have been lacking.

4. Great for him...but it is Azencott!!
Avouskila ,   South America   (12.10.12)
His origins are from the same place as the great polyglott Mathematician, Prof. in USA and France, a writer, a theatre director,an authentic renaissance man; others are writers, comedians, and authors such as Louis Azencott: sorry not Eizenkot. His ancestry is from Oujda. It is like writing the great historian Hirshfield as Harshafal.....sound Moroccan enough.
