2. to haji abbas You Chose Unilateral Way
(12.10.12)
Against ADVISE? You Think Taht The u.n. Can GIVE YOU LAND? You haji abbas Bite Off Your Nose To Spite Your Face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU arabs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW what west bank? Judea and Samaria Have Been Jewish For 4000 years, what was your kings(arab) name?
3. They are "dismayed" by Jews' dwelling at the heart of their
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (12.10.12)
ancestral homeland, but are totally silent when only two days ago, in Gaza, one of the most important leaders of the "Palestinians" called for the annihilation of Israel, all of it, and the expulsion - or worse - of the Jewish citizens of Israel from their homeland. One is reminded of the deeply rooted hostility found in Europe towards Jews, an attitude of racism that the Europeans themselves have elevated its expression, more than once, to the highest level of mass murdering Jews. Now they just do so verbally, for now...!!
4. What a bullshit...
Beary White ,   Norway   (12.10.12)
Gaza, WB and East Jerusalem have NEVER been under the control of the pals, or made any lawful push for land,as Israel did. The Egypt and Jordan went directly into those area after the british left those from the earlier ottoman empire. After a couple of wars they were conquered by Israel. But the egyption nor the jordanians ever claimed it belonged to the pals!! And the pals NEVER EVER in those earlier years claimed it to be belonging to the pals/arabs. Then, there is NOTHING which EVER belonged to the arab/pals, and they DO NOT HAVE ANY LEGAL IGHT to Gaza, WB and east Jerusalem. Logically Israel can build wherever and whatever in these area without any interference from UK/EU or arab states.
5. dismayed ?
abe4u ,   Israel   (12.10.12)
The EU is dismayed ?? Poor guys> They werent dismayed by the relentless rocket fire from Gaza into Israel ? Nor are they dismayed by the thousands killed in Syria ? Well they can keep on being dismayed !!
6. EU desmay over Israel
Leib ,   Home land stolen   (12.10.12)
The real reason why the EU is in a dismay because they would to see us Jew disapair and in the end the EU is disapairing and we Jews live on
7. EU threatens peace
Ed ,   USA   (12.10.12)
The real threat to peace is constant EU condemnations of Israel. If it would occur to the EU to condemn Palestinian intransigence instead, then the threat of Israeli settlements would motivate the Palestinians to negotiate.
8. While it seems useless after Meshall
StevieT ,   USA   (12.10.12)
thank goodness there are governments on this planet that will refuse to give up the search for peace (or a suitable substitute). Despite the apparent futility, I applaud these efforts. And - it might be diplomatic coup if Israel could cooperate for a while.
9. 100+ Gazan Killed are not asimportant as 41 000 Syrians
Alan ,   SA   (12.10.12)
and MOST of the Gazans (not all) were Hamas
10. Incitement
Joe Justice ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.10.12)
"The EU also called on the Palestinian leadership to use the UN upgrade constructively and not take steps which would "deepen the lack of trust and lead further away from a negotiated solution." Did the EU call out Abbas on his UN speech?!?
11. Deeply dismayed
Sam M ,   UK   (12.10.12)
Well just imagine how dismayed Israelis would feel to have a second their towns and cities. And if the international community get their way it will mean an Israel about 8 miles wide at it's narrowest point, indefensible and ripe for the second stage of the jihadi plan the destruction of the Jewish state. And imagine how dismayed many Israelis would be to have Judea and Samaria handed over for a palestinian state where no Jews can live while Israel has well over a million arab citizens. Let them feel dismayed it's a whole lot better than the nightmare scenario these idiots are proposing.
12. A recent survey actually showed...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (12.10.12)
...that less than 5% of EU citizens think that what the EU says matters. My guess would be that somewhere between 0 and 0 % of the world outside cares.
13. EU
shlomi krichely ,   antwerp belgium   (12.10.12)
Its extremly sad to say but th EU is in DENIAL . 64 years and nothing has changed about europes antisemitisim only them being in DENIAL about it !!!! same old song and dance. As for all of the people who i know for sure will start comenting bad things here about israel i have just this to say to all of you,,,,, THE PEOPLE OF ZION WILL NEVER BE UPROOTED AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14. Excuse me! Where was the EU when....
Ariel ,   Modi'in, Israel   (12.10.12)
... their cronies Hamas were lobbing rockets into Israeli civilian areas!! I didn't read of any meetings by the EU to discuss the unacceptability of these actions and their repercussions on the chances of peace. Talk about unacceptable actions that are stumbling blocks to peace. Fatah & Hamas, who just this past weekend emphasized their non-acceptance of the existence of Israel, are two birds of the same feather. The PA are the impediments to peace by their insistence of conditioning any talks on unacceptable capitulation by Israel on virtually all "final status" issues.... Who is there to talk peace to???
15. For some the WAR AGAINST THE JEWS = via "Palestinian" ARABS.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (12.10.12)
16. The spoiled brat Israel needs to agree to cooperate.
Michael ,   California, USA   (12.10.12)
Peace negotiations need to be resumed without ultimatums, without forced unilateral conditions, etc.. Israel needs to negotiate for its "rights" to build. Everybody in the world understands that. It is stupid to fight the world as the outcome is obvious..
17. Whare are the PM's reactions to all this, 2nd try
Mitzi   (12.10.12)
18. The EU hypocrites can condemn Hamas if they'd like
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (12.10.12)
and make as much of a fuss about the calls for the death of Israel, as they do about some houses that are really none of their business anyway.
19. "negotiated" vs imposed, other shoe is about to drop
Steven Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (12.10.12)
20. So, the chinless turtle crawled out of her red shell
Devorah   (12.10.12)
and she read her list of verbs: Disappointed Concerned Distressed Dismayed Saddened She smiled at the blackened sun and retreated back into her disintegrating shell to comfortably dwell in her sinister fantasies of death to Israel.
21. Where would the 2nd State be located?
Miss Skeptic ,   LA CA   (12.10.12)
I can't imagine that everyone at the Foreign Ministers meeting is ignorant so one can only assume that they're playing a game. The two State solution went the way of dinosaurs and everybody in political circles knows it and so do journalists. Abu Mazen doesn't want any Jews in his new State and there are over 500,00 of them in the West Bank and they won't be going anywhere. Why won't they? 9,000 Israelis were uprooted from Gaza and it was the biggest Army operation since the Yom Kippur war and it took 10 days. So who would move 500,000 people and where would they go to?
22. If Jews are prevented from building homes in Israel
BH ,   Iowa   (12.10.12)
Where will it be next?
23. EU is irrelevant
Noel ,   Cork,Ireland   (12.10.12)
The EU cannot even address the problems in Northern Ireland ... they are rioting because the British flag was taken down at the city hall in Belfast! If they cannot resolve such petty matters, who are they to tell Israel what to do regarding greater issues ... the EU is a joke!
24. If the EU was the size of a postage stamp in ME
Grace ,   USA   (12.10.12)
I don't believe they would have any problem building for their citizens on what little they have. Build on Israel! May Hashem bless and protect every בית
25. No EU dismay for PA's preconditions?
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (12.10.12)
This draft also says,"To this end, both sides must "engage in direct and substantial negotiations without pre-conditions" Seeing that Abbas and his PA cronies have refused to negotiate without preconditions for more than 2 years,I should have supposed that the EU would have expressed some dismay over that...but none,of course. And by the way, what's this 'International Law' that forbids settlements? The EU keeps on referring to it but they never say which law they actually mean. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
26. Here's a fun idea
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (12.10.12)
Why not place Ashton,as she is in the top photo, and Merkel,as she is in the bottom photo, face to face and see which one blinks first. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
27. I'M DISMAYED BY THE UN!!!!!
Ben Yisrael ,   Tel Aviv   (12.10.12)
And for what did they get the Nobel Peace Prize? For letting 50,000 Syrians get killed?
28. E1...deja vu
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (12.10.12)
This is very strange. Before ww2 Oswald Mosley and his British Union of Fascists tried to drive the Jewish residents out of London E1. The defenders' slogan then was "They shall not pass.". THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
29. "EU is 'deeply dismayed by blablabla
tiki ,   belgium   (12.10.12)
"The Israeli community & the International Jewish community is deeply dismayed by your dismay, but the Israeli communitiy & International Jewish community has it's belly full of the international communities uncalled advise and has gathered a wide experience in surviving centuries of the International communities opinions & good intentions and will do so in the future"!
