31. He had a chance to proof it.
Israeli 2   (12.12.12)
I don't buy talks. SHOW it! Or get out!
32. 'Abu Mazen'
ltrail ,   United States   (12.12.12)
Abu Mazen is Mahmoud Abbas. Why does he hide his identity behind several false names? Sure he does.
33. you had your chance...
yeah right bud ,   great white north   (12.12.12)
Just one month ago, you and Bibi had the chance to show the Palestinians "who's boss". Well, did you? No!!! Both you and Bibi chickened out big time, and left the hamas feeling (rightfully)victorious. So, how about you drop the "MOISHE GROISE" show right now?! The public's memory is not that poor!!!

Jennie ,   Israel/US   (12.12.12)
It takes one (thug) to know one, Avremele or whoever you are... Lieberman is surely serving his Homeland Israel, in the best way possible..He plays no political games and takes the threats of our enemies, seriously... And btw, among the first immigrants to Israel, where Russian Jews, whom you should thank for harvesting the land, building homes, planting trees, starting kibutzim and much more...
36. Lieberman is right!!!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (12.12.12)
Let's hope they follow-thru with their warnings. Hamas' is scared to death, and all their false bravado doesn't change that fact. They will only get brave if war breaks-out on all fronts; their assumption of there's strength in numbers, will, to their chagrin, backfire. Israel will win an all-fronts war, and it's coming! As in 1967, the world will be, once again, stunned and amazed at how this tiny nation defeats the superior numbers of the Islamic hordes! Israel will NOT lose, because God's Holy Word says it; and, that's good enough for me! God bless, Israel; praying for the peace of Jerusalem!!! Christian Zionist
37. This is kinda guy
Tubby ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (12.12.12)
......who will gladly fight to the last drop of our soldiers blood. About time that we got a civilised foreign minister and not some Al Capone type parading as one.
38. I love Liberman !!!
Salma ,   State of Palestine   (12.12.12)
keep up the good work, dudu :)
39. War
AARON ,   Tel Aviv   (12.12.12)
lol..............
40. Is he upholding the interests of Israelis?
Michael ,   California, USA   (12.12.12)
ICC may soon declare Israelis will be risking arrest and worse while traveling. This would be a very serious problem for Israeli citizens who are well known to travel widely outside their country. The Foreign Minister of Israel should be aware of such risks and take precautions to make travel safer for Israelis, not more dangerous. Coming out with aggressive, intimidating, warlike statements is not the role for a Foreign Minister to play. A much better diplomat is needed for the FM job in the Israeli government, one who understands that his role is to serve country's citizens.
41. To Moh from Yemen
Robert ,   Florida USA   (12.12.12)
Their land? Who says? Jews are the indigenous people on that land, unless you can show me a Canaanite.
42. Tzipi lost her Harrods conjugal visits what, 5 years a go?
Miron ,   USA   (12.12.12)
They have good reason to worry about prosecution. Because some judges in Israel aren't ready to give up their Harrods shop - gazm for any Hashem promises in the world. By the way, have you ever seeing crowd around US malls? Do you know who yells loudests "where can I find pot"? The 50 year old Israeli father of their over - sized 14 year old sons. You have a lot of gaz - a to let go before start worrying about any invasions. And that is squarely in your laps, Avigdor. It's not that you are worse or better than previous Israeli FM(s). It just you are the first normal guy we can ask of anything.
43. San Remo, British Mandate & sovereign borders
Zed   (12.12.12)
The San Remo Resolution : The Mandate for Palestine was based on this resolution; it incorporated the 1917 Balfour Declaration and the Covenant of the League of Nation's Article 22. Britain was charged with establishing a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine. Terroritorial boundaries were not decided until four years after. San Remo did not in any way 'promise Jordan' to the Zionist cause. Wording is specific and clear. '48 Declaration of Independence was in acknowledgement of the borders delineated in UNGAR 181, specifically. Nothing outside of the borders accepted & claimed at that time is sovereign Israeli territory. It is impermissible to acquire territory by war; armistice lines are not sovereign territory lines unless they were so prior to the armistice. Israel has not legally annexed any other territory outside of the '48 territory (via treaty or agreement, i.e., referendum put to population living there - in this case, Palestinians). Rhetoric in times of war or threat may make us feel good but does no long term good. Unilaterally deciding to acquire territory in the dream of Greater Israel is a danger to the nation - again, short term thinking with long term deleterious consequences.
44. to no 19
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (12.12.12)
A thug ? You better learn, who the real thugs are, Avramele or Machumedele... Unlike all of the cabinet members, Lieberman tells it exactly as it is and why ..Israel's history of defensive wars and withdrawals, are quite some proof of our intentions for the last 66 years. Avigdor Lieberman has vocalized, what none of left-liberal knesset members, have the guts to say or understand.... FYI, we are fighting the war with an enemy, that wants nothing, but our destruction...They prove it with every rocket, exploding over the heads of our children on our sovereign land.... Our Nation has suffered more, then enough... GO Lieberman ! Only a strong and swift deterrence will stop the terror and restore the life, every human being deserves. Remember what Golda Meir said: "When they will put down their weapons, there'll be peace. But if we will, there will be no Israel.."
45. Talk is cheap
Zev ,   Israel   (12.12.12)
I do not believe him. He is a big talker but when it comes to actually doing he holds back.
46. Just a back street thug really.
Mike Carmel ,   Rishon le Zion   (12.12.12)
47. #29 Mistaken
Cynthia ,   USA   (12.12.12)
The PA was responsible for hundreds of terror attacks against Israel. Abbas was Arafat's right hand man as Arafat authorized these attacks. The Palestinians have carved a niche for themselves as terrorists because of their actions. You must have short-term or selective memory to not remember the November missile attacks against Israel. Ethnic cleansing of Israel is more like it.
48. Lieberman
Sam M ,   UK   (12.12.12)
It's time to forget all about the diplomatic niceties and tell it like it is. There's too much at stake for any Israeli government to carry on as before. These spineless eu foreign ministers have always had one eye on their growing islamic constituencies the other on lucrative trade deals and of course their oil supply. Next time these clowns come up with their predictable stock response to Israel defending itself against arab terror such as the need for a 'proportionate response' they need to be told where to go in no uncertain terms. Likewise with building new homes in Jewish communities with their expressions of 'concern' and 'dismay'. By not standing up for its national interests Israel is effectively surrendering sovereignty. Goodness knows these euro wimps are used to bending over and biting their lips but there's no reason for Israeli politicians to be so craven.
49. Secretly theres a cry, a wish a desire, a prayer
Proud Palestinian ,   L.A.   (12.12.12)
Yes we want you to invade Gaza with your ground forces, afterall it is about this earth, this land, yes Liberman let the "Ground War Begin" we have nothing to lose and want to see Jesus whom you people curse. Yes bring your forces who stevie Wonder a man of Peace refused to perform for, bring these kids of war your children into Gaza.
50. Running to the ICC
Ros ,   Tel Aviv   (12.12.12)
Why doesn't Abbas complain to the ICC about the Syrian forces killing innocent woman and children and other Syrians - everywhere in the world there is genocide and he is only worried about houses being built. Shame on him!!
51. Foolin' no-one, Lieberschmuck
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (12.12.12)
7amas is NOT P.A., and no amount of repeating it is going to change that. Holding Pres. Abbas responsible for the actions emanating from 3Aza is tantamount to blaming Netanyahu for the actions of Neturei Karta. Get real!
52. dffdfdf

54. To: No. 12
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.12.12)
Oh, but Lieberman did serve. Why don't you check your facts before you post? By the way -- what (if anything) did you do in the IDF?
55. To: No. 28
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.12.12)
Which two hoodlums, dear? Abbas and Mashaal? Or Haniyeh and Nasrallah? So many ersatz "Palestinian" thugs, it's difficult to know to which two hoodlums you refer. Can you be a little more specific, please? By the way -- the ICC was created basis international treaty. Only countries which ratify the treaty are subject to its jurisdiction. Neither Israel nor the United States have ratified the treaty, therefore they are outside the jurisdiction of the ICC. That's not exactly a secret. Why don't you look it up?
56. BLAH BLAH BLAH ,EMPTY THREATS
CAPTIAN OBVIOUS ,   SAFED OPERA HOUSE   (12.12.12)
More hot air from Lieberman ,JUST BE4 ELECTIONS.
57. #16 no to military DM
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (12.12.12)
Until now, Israel's greatest DM has been Moshe Ahrens. Generals have proven to be terrible DMs. Apparently, they are too entrenched in petty military politics.
58. # 29
big bad Jew ,   United States   (12.12.12)
There will never be a pal state whether it is the PA or Hamas.... Jordan is the pals home and if the pals hadn't tried to assassinate the last King, they might have already been settled and have no reason to keep attacking Israel. ( but, sadly for the pals that's what they do.. ) I know of no one who sympathizes with the pals - no one their antics on 9-11 with pals dancing in the streets, passing out candy, was repulsive to US all. America lost 3,000 lives that day, some of which were Muslims and many children. I don't use the word, 'ersatz' that is Sarah B whom I admire and agree with wholly. When you love your kids and women more than you love murdering Jews, let US all know, we'd love to be friends, and, I mean that sincerely. Murder isn't the answer..... To live in peace IS the goal......
59. # 20 AMEN Andrew AMEN ....
big bad Jew ,   United States   (12.12.12)
60. # 19 Times have changed..
big bad Jew ,   United States   (12.12.12)
so does language and leaders . Personally, I'd love to have another Lieberman here in America. For that matter, I'd also gladly trade obama for Bibi... but, it's not my choice and, Lieberman is the choice for Israel now. I also believe G-d appoints certain people for certain times and reasons none of which are up to us. Pray for them...
