it comes to the west bank. The HARD REALITIES that Israelis refuse to face are ... (1) the Arabs west of the Jordan river are NOT, repeat NOT, going anywhere. NOT to Jordan, NOT to Egypt, NOT to the US, NOT anywhere. (2) Israel has ONLY TWO options for a viable future, either they DIVIDE the land fairly with the Arabs (remove 600000+ settlers from the WB) or SHARE the land by making every human west of the Jordan River a FULL citizen of Israel. There are NO OTHER OPTIONS, no matter how much Israeli wish there to be some other magic option. Right now, Israel in its infinite wisdom is ensuring that the land can not be divided, which means the option Israeli have chosen whether they realize it or not is sharing the land with all that implies. Over time, Israel will be forced to share the land equally. I hope you like the future you have chosen. It will NOT turn out like you think.

Jerusalem was the capital of Israel in King David's time and has been recognised as such ever since until the Palisinvented themselves and decided they want a share of something they have no legal, historical or moral right to. All faiths have the right to pray in their holy places inside Jerusalem, just as Jews have the right to pray in synagogues the world over. Having the right to pray in someone else's capital city doesn't give you the right to claim any part of it as your own, though, does it?
