They are number 2 behind only Silicone Valley of the United States in terms of ABSOLUTE technology production and they crush on a per capita basis. Isreal also develops more technology than ALL of the European countries. One could also claim that much of the tech coming from Israel is also extremely impactful (i.e. antivirus, encryption, cell phone tech, computer chips, oh, first missile defense of its kind, Iron Dome which intercepts home made rockets and not ballistic missiles is amazing. Honestly, I could go on and on. I'll just leave you with one more point, Europe is starting down a path of higher risk, less profitability, and many countries which drain the constitution of the EU. Trust me, Europe has many problems of its own and I can assue you, the technology that comes out of Israel is not a TINY contribution, go read a book.

Folks this is real estate / property development! the term "settlement" is a major misnomer. "settlement" also detracts from the goal of real estate development which is tied to economic development, urban planning, transportation infrustructure, and sustainbility. its time for Israel to create and implement a robust sustainable development infrustructure to make it EASY to build communities and promote mixed land uses, protect the environment, and build an infrastructure, including roads, drainage systems, water, sewerage, and public utilities.
