Peace, what peace? All I remember was death and destruction. Oslo a total, absolute failure. Rabin a failed Prime Minister. Lipikin Shahak a failed peace negotiator.

Anybody who believes the majority of arabs want peace with the Jews needs serious therapy. Peace was never arafat's intention. He used Rabin, with "Shalom, Chaver" Clinton's blessing. Oslo brought back over 15.000 killers-a deadly virus-into Israel. The intifada started shortly after. Mr. Shaath-go fly a kite!

Shaath can do one thing and one thing only - return to the peace talks. Anything else means he is a worthless tool of an Arab dictatorship that is proving to the Israeli people that it is weak and cannot negotiate, let alone sign a peace treaty with us. Shaath - give your boss Abbas a kick in the butt and make him resume peace talks. Stop using cheap excuses to refuse negotiations. We know Fatah is weak and you can't sign for Gaza. We know whoever signs the treaty on your side will have to tell those refugees they are not "going home" to live in Israel - and the signer may get a bullet in the head for it. But if you want to live in peace you have to MAKE peace, not just write op-ed obituaries about it.

Of course the right-wing and ultra orthodox zealots can scream louder than me. It is their day job. Still, hear my whisper. Rest in peace Lipkin-Shahak. You served your country well.

I sadly admit that our leaders, across the modern history, made us pay dearly due to their incompetence and miserable failure. We need leaders who are capable of paradigm shifting towards the benefit and luxury of the Palestinian people. Simultaneously, we need historic Israeli leaders to encourage peace and also be capable of paradigm shifting at their side. The alternative would be hell for all.

I believe in a 1-state solution where Arabs from Yudah-Shomron will get Jordanian citizenship with residence in Israel. And Arabs from Gaza will get the Egyptian citizenship or will make an independent small state. Later when everything will be stable we will make a kind of economical and cultural union with Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt etc...

I feel like vomitting profusely because of your article .You have just reminded me of the late Anwar Sadat who called the late Golda Meir " a noble foe " upon her passing away in late 1978. You make me feel you are a truly disgusting, repulsive, and insensitive Palestinian . I can see your twisted mind and soul and your sick spirit are quick to remember that deceased Israeli while you do not seem to bother a bit about the bitter feelings of depraved Palestinians . My donkey knows that Jews come from Palestine. We are negotiating about sharing Israeli homeland and Jewish homeland. Palestine will be the national homeland of the Palestinian people. Israel is the national homeland of the Jewish people. If you say there is no such thing as the Jewish nation, then my donkey reminds you that there would also be no such thing as the Palestinian nation, in which case my donkey says he'll take over both sides and call it donkeyland and invite you to be in his government.
