31. I agree with Chaya
David ,   Tel Aviv, ISRAEL   (12.25.12)
I'm a Leftist, and Chaya is not, but what we both see is that Feiglin is making BAD arguments. You can't jump to Eichmann unless you first figure out if the order given is just or not. If the order was to kill children, then "I was following orders" is no excuse for the crime. If the order is "feed the children" then the refusal is obviously not an excuse, but an omission which is a crime. Thank god the right and left can get together on the nonsense of these politicians.
32. No 21 he pays his taxes like most of us
(12.25.12)
Isn't that enough for you mr Cohen?
33. #30 Steve - Lots of questions
Tracy W   (12.25.12)
Hi Steve. - It's true. There is a suspicious overexposure of this new party and Mr Bennett, just at a time when disappointment with Likud is growing. If we were conspiracy minded, Steve, we might think that this party was created specifically to PREVENT voters from switching to the small right wing parties. And continuing in a conspiratorial spirit, we have to wonder why the National Union never really tried too hard. They wasted four years, when they could have gone campaigning from day one to organize and attract more followers. They did not. They kept a low profile. As if they were content to be a token right wing representation in the Knesset. Very strange. What would have happened to them had they been more aggressive?......
34. Feiglin,s statement about disobedience
etty Kanger ,   israel, lavi   (12.25.12)
a very clear and moral statement with which I totally agree. No person can hide behind the statement "I just followed orders". In our democratic country there has to be place for disobedience based on an individual's conscience of right and wrong. The right to conscientious disobedience must be taken only in very extreme circumstances.

Mitchell Cohen ,   Gush Etzion, Israel   (12.25.12)
So he pays his taxes? Woopeedoo!!!! So do I. The difference is I am NOT calling for people to be tried for treason and thrown in jail for life for what they say. Got it?!?!
36. It is called "HALACHA" and it triumphs all else.
TzVi   (12.25.12)
Halacha says that throwing Jews out of their homes anywhere especially in Israel is an evil crime. PERIOD.
37. You should be tried for treason under the Real JEWISH LAW!
TzVi   (12.25.12)
Treason? For what? For not doing evil? Really? You are the real traitor for saying such things. Go learn the Halacha, learn the Torah learn the Rambam who says that these things are clearly forbidden! No King/ruler has more power then the Torah.
38. Mr. Netanyahu is talking out both sides of his mouth
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (12.25.12)
He claims he will not allow anybody that calls for people to reflect their principals even if they conflict with orders into the government. Yet Minister Landau did that exact same thing in 1995 and is in the government right now. Mr. Feiglin is right and his comparison is apt.
39. Feiglin exaggerates.
Shimon ,   Cincinnati   (12.25.12)
And creates a false choice. An ideologically distasteful order is not necessarily illegal. If it is not illegal, it must be obeyed. On the other hand, any order to murder unarmed civilians is clearly illegal, and should not be obeyed as it involves "ibud tzelem enosh". A settler having to move is not a cruel or inhuman punishment. I assure you, they won't be living on the street, starving to death. I hope that clears things up a bit.
