1. Vote Bibi.
Jules   (12.28.12)
Bennet has not shown any capabilities to run the country yet.
2. The best would be ninety.
Michael ,   California, USA   (12.28.12)
Something must change for Israel through these elections, for the better, let's hope. Actually, I best like the number 43 + 47 = 90, or something over 60 based on that 90-base. As they wisely say: "united we stand." The opposite of it, dispersed, is unacceptable.
3. Methinks me may vote for dear Mr. Bennett
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (12.28.12)
He seems like a decent and sincere fellow.
4. According to the last poll here
(12.28.12)
Likud voters go to Meretz and Arab parties. But Tzemah only a doctor. Listen to professors. May be they know.
5. Bennett=Puppet of the Tycoons
Avi Mizrachi ,   Tel Aviv   (12.28.12)
From Wikipedia: "In 1999, he co-founded "Cyota" – an anti-fraud software company and served as its CEO. The company was sold in 2005 to RSA Security for $145,000,000". Great, another ex-Sayeret Matkal lawyer who became a mega-rich through his vitamin P and when the money wasn't enough, he went for the power. No wonder why Bibi is his BFF. In Israel, we're convinced we're voting for this or that platform when in reality it's all about who controls the flow of money and political favors. I think I'm going to choose the $100 option from Satmar for not voting.
6. #1vote anything but Bibi
Sam ,   Kfar saba   (12.28.12)
He has destroyed Israel
7. Things have to get worse before they can get better
Michael ,   Haifa   (12.28.12)
The more extreme the next right wing government wiil be, the greater the likelihood of the world having to intervene to save us from ourselves.
8. # 6 You are wrong.
Jules   (12.28.12)
Israel was in the "write-off list" in 2009: the "peace process" was intended to destroy Israel completely. Netanyahu and Lieberman have stopped that "process", and therefore they saved the country .
9. Bennet, Livni, Lapid, Shelly God help us if they won
zionist forever   (12.28.12)
Love or hate Bennet the man is an idealist who doesn't know the first thing about running a country and his priority isn't the country as a whole its the settlements He also doesn't have a hope of winning the election even if he is moving up in the polls. The alternative to Likud is a leftist coalition of Shelly who doesn't know the first thing about running a country nor does she want to learn because her flawed moral attitude is she will not sit in a right wing coalition in which she can learn the ropes. The only thing she is sure about is she wants everybody to see her as a centrist Then you Meeretz who are mad as hatters and the opportunists Livni & Lapid. Not exactly the ideal coalition to be running the country. Bibi is far from perfect but he is the best of a bad bunch and a vote for a fringe party left or right is a wasted vote.
10. Bennett should be grateful for Israeli left
Daniel ,   JM   (12.28.12)
By politically assessinating Lieberman, lefties have radicalized the "Russian" Jews and delivered Bennett 20% of Israeli electorate without him having to lift a finger. I wonder if he will send them a thank-you card.
11. ZF, #9: Who is saying Bennett will be next PM?
Steve Klein   (12.28.12)
Naftali Bennett is a young, intelligent (as you say) idealist. He has plenty of time to learn and grow into a fine leader. Instead of spurning bright, young, up and coming men like Bennett, PM Netanyahu should embrace him as a natural ally. He should take him "under his wing" so to speak and help him succeed. These young men are Israel's future. In this way, both Likud and Habayit Hayehudi will benefit, as will the country benefit. Obama embraces his far-leftist allies. Why shouldn't Netanyahu embrace his natural allies?
12. Only Bennett
jason ,   israel   (12.28.12)
can bring back decency and authentic leadership to the political establishment. if we believe enough, sooner than we all think possible. by the way, I recommended talk back #1 by accident :(
13. #11 Steve
DavidR ,   USA   (12.28.12)
All Thanks be to the Holy One of Israel, blessed be He, that there is NO comparison between Obama and Netanyahu, nor should there be! Obama embraces his far leftist allies because Obama is far left. The left is NOT Netanyahu's natural allies. They are his natural enemies. Get a grip fellow!
14. ? Bennett was Bibi's chief of staff
Isabella1709 ,   Tampa USA   (12.28.12)
What has he done other than be competition to incur the wrath of the Netanyahu's?
15. People are tired of Netanyahu
Rachel ,   US   (12.28.12)
He's supposed to represent the nationalist camp and what does he do? Throw Jews out of their homes.
16. Hoping for a Labor win
Ferdinand ,   France & Israel   (12.28.12)
Hoping for Labor to win. Labor is the party that built Israel, the party of Ben-Gurion, the party that gave Israel independence, and the party that led the defence of Israel in all the major wars. Israel need a party that stands both for a strong Israel and for an Israel where every Jew is welcome. The right wants an Israel only for the religious, not for the majority of the Jews.
17. # 3
Observer ,   Tel-Aviv, Israel   (12.28.12)
Standing tall under the table in the USA.
18. Coalition of pragmatists
Zechariah   (01.01.13)
The pragmatic part of Likud the Two cente left twins Labor and the ever practical Haredim is seventy seats about keeping the wreckers of any slight chance of peace out
