Isn't there some statute of limitations in Israel? I'm not defending Bibi's behavior as an MK -- don't know enough about it -- but here in the fleshpots, people cannot be prosecuted (except for murder) X number of years after the alleged misdeed. I'm often dismayed by the amount of corruption evident in Israel revealed by convictions of politicians, but I've noticed something of a mania to investigate public officials only to find no basis for charges that will hold up in court. This is expensive, distracting and very damaging to reputations.
