1. rubbish
E. G. Marsch ,   Nahariya, Israel   (01.04.13)
Ex-head of military intelligence Amos Yadlin, who was serving at the same time Diskin served and was in the meetings, said the Netanyahu-Barak govt. conducted itself with great professionalism. Google "Yadlin defends Netanyahu, Barak on Iran policy." The difference is that Yadlin was not passed over for a position. Diskin was. All that motivates him is personal vengeance--the welfare of Israel be damned. We have some awful people in this country, unfortunately.
2. Diskin
David ,   Montreal, Canada   (01.04.13)
Its deceiving coming from an ex- shinbet chief, giving out a sensitive political atmosphere to the international arena. True or not, this can only help the enemy, and help Bibi opennents. The question is why he waited an electoral period to speak out? Why he didn't do it while he was chief of shinbet? If was a true patriot he should of spoke out before and at the limite quite his job.
3. The Iran obsession was a proof of serious sickness.
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.04.13)
Netanyahu has failed badly and needs to be replaced. Israel cannot risk poor leadership from egotistical personalities bent on carving a place for themselves in history. Let them hit lectures circuits abroad where they can still command paying audiences from among those who criticize them or want to throw away money.
4. What a risk ?
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (01.04.13)
In the past 4 years there were annually 5-10 victims of the arab terror in Israel. How many israelis were killed during the Barak, Sharon, Olmert period ? I remember for a single day, when in 3 suicide bombings 40 peoples died. Vote for B. Netanyahu !
5. Bye bye Bibi
Sam ,   Kfar Saba   (01.04.13)
Perhaps there is a G-d looking after us after all...
6. As beeing a Goy I think -
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (01.04.13)
- those Leftist Critics, are the real danger to israels future, as according to HASHEMS intention with Israel. They are Marching to another Drummer, the Spirit and Intention of The World, which can only lead Israel to the brink of the Pit. However - The Word of HASHEM must come to fullfillment, and that requires those Leftists Political takeover, for Israel to be brought to the Danger of Destruction, and HASHEMS intervention to save Israel. God bless Israel forever and ever !.. Arn.Sweden.
7. diskin's problem
alexi   (01.04.13)
diskin' s critique of bibi and barak might be worthy except for his endorsement of olmert who winograd found to be a security ignormamus and coward which is why he made so may concessions. Mitzna also is not one to talk as his proposal of gaza withdrawal brought us 10,000 rockets. so diskin is not worth much period. Bibi is weak, hesitant but is better than olmert, livni, lapid and yechaimovitc put together. Though his time is coming to an end as Pm in the next while. Feiglin, lieberman, bennett, shamir are better and more decisive leaders. barak is on his way out in any case and yaalon will replace him if bibi has any brains.
8. Did he resign? Looks like money is working?
tony ,   nigeria   (01.04.13)
9. Got paid by the elite left for smearing
Shalom ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
As is the usual tactic of the elitist leftists. They are afraid of loosing control, so they search for desperate means to influence the masses. Sad, but true.
10. Appropriate or not.....
Shalom ,   U.S.A.   (01.04.13)
The truth is ugly! Diskin's statement could be scrutinized, but it is an undeniable fact that neither of this duo of Netanyahu and Barak is good for Israel's future. Remember Barak leaking confidential information to Israel's arch enemy and his subsequent decoration by Obama? The Left must be decisivly defeated; to accomplish that the Right should unite. For the sake of Israel!
11. #3
Anshel ,   Canada   (01.04.13)
Another couch potato critic from liberal California. If you are not happy with the current leadership in Israel, consider moving there and run for an office. Diskin as a spoiled brat, manouvering for a politic office in the future, If he was not happy with Netanyahu and Barak during his tenure, the descent thing from him was to resign, instead of coming out of the woodwork during the election campaign. He has no credibility whatsoever. Shame on him and the opposition leaders, embracing a person without a backbone.
12. Looks like a lot if Bribes going on
Bill Stein ,   USA   (01.04.13)
Looks like the left through their American and British Handlers are bribing a lot of guys to come of of the woodwork in this Election. If Bibi or Bennett was smart they would expose this.
13. What good has Livni EVER done for Israel?
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.04.13)
Livni's tirades against Bibi are more than tiresome. What good has Livni EVER done for Israel in her public life? LIvnis political record is of unbroken foolishness, incompetence and appeasement of Israel's genocidal foes. She cost us victory in Lebanon with her idiotic cease fire with Hizbullah. She disgraced us at Annapolis. And on and on. Livni does not deserve to be elected as dogcatcher.
14. #11, I served IL for many years with great dedication.
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.04.13)
But the country has turned against people like me. Over half a million of us are outside, qualified to vote in a couple of weeks. It doesn't look like you are one of us, to give Netanyahu retirement papers. Don't worry, it will not be Deri who will take over, nor Ovadia Yosef.
15. Bibi's latest decision with Hamas.
SD Charger ,   San Diego   (01.04.13)
Are rockets being fired at Israel today? NO. Did Bibi broker a deal through Mersi where Hamas can NOT step out of line ever again? YES We all know what price Hamas will pay if they start another skirmish. So, how did Bibi fail with Israel's security? Security is the main priority for Israeli politicians. Some think the IDF should have went into Gaza last time and they are upset with Bibi for not being forceful enough. Then there are those who get upset when Bibi sends the IDF in response to Hamas. Being the PM of Israel requires intelligence and courage, so be careful what you wish for at election time. The US elected Obama again. We will have to wait and see if that was the correct move, or not. Israel is now faced with their fate at the next election, choose wisely.
16. We remember what a bad defense minister Mitzna was
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (01.05.13)
Livni was not a very good foreign minister. Israel was being attacked left and right and Livni only made things worse, and Mitzna was perhaps the worse defense minister in Israel's history (that I can think of). What a joke, a dynamic duo of defeatist.
