4. Where is the snow?
Ephraim ,   Jerusalem   (01.09.13)
As usual, they get the kids all excited for nothing. My son goes to school by school bus every day from Katamon to Neve Yakov. We were told by the school bus driver that if it snows, he would not drive them home, so we let our kid stay home today. All day he looked out the window waiting, and waiting, and waiting for the snow to start. All we saw here was 5-10 minutes of Hail, but no snow. It's our fault not to learn from the past, but we thought this time the meteorologists knew what they were talking about.
5. Wise to have those snowplows & salt at the ready
Cameron ,   USA   (01.09.13)
Very wise. I remember in the 90s Chicago ran out of salt one season in the middle of heavy snowfall, and traffic was an absolute disaster for days. The entire city warned Daley his mayoral career was over if he slipped up like that again.

Agree 100%. Missed a day of work to be with the kids and for what? A little it of hail? What a wasted day.

Yes it did snow here for a few minutes about 11:30PM and a bit later in the PM too, but on the ground? Where is there snow like in the pictures? I live here, there ain't nuttin' on the ground as of 6:30PM. Oh, well, maybe tonight.
9. The photos showing snow on the ground are not from J'lem
Jake   (01.09.13)
That's the Ramat HaGolan.
10. THERE'S NO BUSINESS
DA URBAN POET ,   SAFED OPERA BHOUSE   (01.09.13)
Like snow business.
11. Snow plows not needed
Yonatan ,   Shomron, Israel   (01.09.13)
Snow plows are not needed in Jerusalem at all. They will be lucky to even get a photograph before the snow melts. The temperature is not cold enough and there is not sufficient snow for it not to melt. Maybe in the Golan they need some plows, but why waste our money for nothing serious? This is not Chicago, Cameron.
12. You guys make me laugh we had a 47 cm snow storm two
Al   (01.09.13)
weeks back, took a week to clear it up with 1200 pieces of equipment and we were in a deep freeze (-10c to -20c) up until today. You have no idea what cold and snow is..you have no idea. In my house its a balmy 14c and I feel warm.
