3. That's Easy, Ora (#2)
emanon ,   USA   (01.10.13)
Understanding arabs is easy: "If you are not me, I'm going to kill you". That pretty well sums up their mindset.
4. This is good
Dave ,   Montreal, Canada   (01.10.13)
The best weapon against ignorance is knowledge. Israel should help fund these programs as they will lead to future cooperation.
5. Enemies and Neighbors
observer ,   usa   (01.10.13)
"It is the language of our enemies, but it is also the language of our neighbors" It is the language of your cousins. It is the language of a multifaceted people who would sooner aid than harm their neighbors. Can you say the same?
6. #4 Dave - This is BAD
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (01.10.13)

7. You already speak the language of the occupier
William ,   Israel   (01.10.13)
but now you need to understand the language of the native population.
8. Not sure why Arabic is not strongly encouraged in Israel
William ,   Israel   (01.10.13)
For one, it's spoken by a large portion of the Israeli population. And second, it would help many Israelis understand what Arabs are really saying instead of getting information 2nd hand through Arabs and Israeli Leftists who sugar-coat it before sharing it.
9. occupied? Sure, terrorists are occupying Jewish land in gaza
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (01.10.13)
10. The claim of linguistic theft
William ,   Israel   (01.10.13)
Here we go again with the false claims of theft by Jews and ownership by Arabs. If it isn't over land, it's over food products, or its over words. I am sure if they really dig far enough Arabs can find something they can feel proud of that they really did bring to the world and contribute to humanity, instead of trying to usurp the history, holy places, land, etc. of other populations. Hebrew has been around for centuries and is much older than Arabic based on evidence of the oldest pieces of writing found on both sides. Hebrew was contemporary with Old South Arabian which eventually split into other languages including Arabic. Hebrew conversationally was replaced with Aramaic, and that was replaced by Arabic.
11. #3 It is also easy, emanon. Read inside:
Yacoub ,   Ramallah Palestine   (01.10.13)
Understanding zionists is easy: "If you are not me, I'm going to replace you". That pretty well sums up their mindset.
12. #5 we'd welcome, even love our cousins when are peaceful.
Yacoub ,   Ramallah Palestine   (01.10.13)
13. They don't need it in Egypt.
Jo   (01.10.13)
They can get medical help in Egypt easily enough, as well as a host of other Arab countries. It is time Gaza and Israel parted.company and Gaza went it's independant way, the way it has chosen.
14. @5
AY ,   USA   (01.10.13)
From the way some Jews treat other Jews even within Israel itself, I'm not sure even I believe you. (And I'm a Jew too. And a pro-Israel one.)
15. Hope they learn the secrets of the Torah/Talmud also.......
Edithann ,   USA   (01.10.13)
Learing the language is not enough..it's the 'hate-filled' meanings behind everything non Jewish that's most important which can only be found in the Torah/Talmud... 'Know thine enemy backwards and forwards to defeat them'... I'm sure this wont be posted ..... TATA
16. Yacoub #11, Are you aware
Jake   (01.10.13)
that about 20% of Israel's citizens are in fact Arabs? That most of Israel's major cities - Jerusalem, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Haifa, Beersheba, Akko, Lod, Ramle - are (unlike Ramallah) mixed cities, with large Arab minorities, in which Jews and Arabs are living and working together in peace?
17. #11 - tell that to the 2.2 m Israeli Arabs
William ,   Israel   (01.10.13)
It's simple. Collectively, you were offered to share the land and build a State together. You rejected it and fought to ethnically cleanse your own neighbors, and lost. And your brothers in Israel chose to take the deal and they live a perfectly equal and comfortable life next to us. Nobody replaced anyone else. And your attempts to replace Jews - on land, in holy places, even in history - will continue to fail until you accept the deal of coexistence.
18. #15 - well, actually isn't it the non-Jews that hate Jews?
William ,   Israel   (01.10.13)
I speak of replacement theology held by Christianity and Islam. The pogroms around the world based on racist hatred for a number of reasons but mostly due to dehumanization and lies to support he replacement theology. After centuries of this, one shouldn't be so surprised when a Jewish scholar writes "be cautious around non-Jews". Infact, many Arabs admit they would disown their own daughter if they dated a Jew - and this is the 21st century! If you want to know Jews and Israelis as a whole, you won't get it in the Talmud. You'll only figure out how some people in Mea Sharim think. So your experiment is a failed one. BUT, we have studied Arabs forwards and backwards....hence, the reason we're still here and they're defeated. Only the Jewish character of valuing life has kept the Arab enemies around.
19. #12 - I believe the Arab League said it best in 1948
William ,   Israel   (01.10.13)
"we will cause Jewish blood to flow through the streets like a river....it will eclipse that of the Mongol invasion" Nothing underscores the attitude of the Arab people - then and today - than that sentence prior to the launch of a genocidal war on Israel. You have no room to complain about Israeli not being "peaceful" after 90 years of your violent crap.
20. "Know they enemy"
david friedlander ,   kfar saba   (01.10.13)
I guarantee you naive/gullible Westerns will interpret this as a bridge for peace.
21. @15 tata

22. Hebrew lessons
Get Real ,   UK   (01.10.13)
to train up a new breed of intelligence officers for espionage and sabotage purposes?
23. #15 Edithann: what are you smoking?!
Carl ,   USA   (01.10.13)
Maybe if you actually studied Jewish texts with Jewish scholars instead of learning from the likes of the Protocols of Zion, you would also know the real Judaism, which is quite the opposite of your "hate filled" interpretation. Do not confuse historical accounts of incidents with teachings of morality and behavior that apply for all time.
24. They want to learn Hebrew for medical treatment in Israel!
(01.11.13)
How true this is! Go into any hospital in Israel and you will find it full of Arab patients. They kill us but they need our doctors and hospitals. Enough said.
25. ..
Tomer   (01.11.13)
