1. Abdallah is a terrorist who should never be released
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (01.12.13)
abdallah murdered in cold blood two diplomats and attempted to murder a third diplomat. his release would only encourage other terrorists to commit murder. no diplomat would be safe.
2. What part of 'life imprisonement' French don't understand?
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (01.12.13)
3. With our open borders, the US shouldn't mind if
Kerwood Derby ,   Frostbite Falls   (01.12.13)
it facilitates the conditions of comrade Abdallah's parole by having him try out his sentence here. That is if the mighty morpin rangers or the mossad don't assist in providing the original terminating condition of his sentence first. Who would think the communist mitterand who went to all this trouble to do his best to arrest his comrade in arms and now the memory of the victims are denigrated with arab appeasement. Can anyone remember the Munich massacre and why those perpetrators were freed or never tried including abu mazen/abbas? Who knew the germans could be so conciliatory not to mention IL for allowing its funder not just remain above ground but to continue genocidallly mass-murdering the people it serves. Perhaps that what France is up to here too. Put abadallah back on the game board, put him in a suit and voila a new genocidal, mass-murderer becomes a leader
4. Barbara, if you don't understand then document yourself
Gregg ,   Haifa IL   (01.12.13)
Life in prison sentences in France are limited to 30 years imprisonment. Then they are released under conditions. If they're French they are severely watched and depraved from civil rights and cannot do just anything neither live anywhere; and if they are foreigners then they are deported.
5. poetic justice
Herman ,   USA   (01.12.13)
just as a reminder I read on the DEBKA file that 2 French special forces soldiers were killed trying to rescue a French intelligence officer captive by Al Qaida splinter in Somalia The hostage also dead
6. 20 years ago...
David ,   Israel   (01.12.13)
It would have been solved with a Walther .22
7. Gregg, Haifa #4 - you sound like lawyer
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (01.12.13)
Think law authorities should change verbal definition - Life imprisonment should be till end of life in prison. If it is only 30 years, so they should say you are in prison for 30 years. Guess each govt defines it differently.
8. #4 #7
Get Real ,   UK   (01.12.13)
Pity then that for such terrorist crimes French law doesn't allow for 30 years for each murder. If he is released no doubt he will receive a hero's welcome on his return and be cited as an example to be followed.
