1. If labor wins, I will leave the country.

2. Don't worry!
Mira ,   Vienna   (01.12.13)
Not the slightest chance!
3. and there livni goes again
Yeled Keton-ton ,   West Bank   (01.12.13)
I've been a vocal supporter for livni ever since she was one of the best foreign ministers ever in Israel's history. I always said she puts the country and the people before herself and anything else in life. but, now that I know she knows if her and lapid join forces with shelly that they can beat Netanyahu, I don't believe this anymore. just the other day she had me very very worried when she said if Netanyahu is re-elected then Israel could be destroyed, but if she believes this and knows that if she, lapid and shelly don't join, then Netanyahu could win almost definitely, she will have a hand in him destroying the country. or she just doesn't believe whatshe just said. looks like I'm going to vote for asma and the daam party. she could be the only hope Israel has left. I always said this, that if zoabi oor asma are elected, Israel will finally be blessed with peace and a state with just as much Arabs as there are Jews, maybe making the Muslims a majority and maybe even hamas winning an election one day in Israel, making Israel the best country on earth. I believed you livni, I believed you when you said Netanyahu will destroy this country, but if you don't join shelly then you will have your hands in it too. shabbat shalom, ooh metucha
4. Israel NEEDS resounding Patriotic Right victory!
Chiam ,   Israel   (01.12.13)
We need to put a total, permanent end to the leftist agenda of appeasement and retreat which is the root source of practically all Israel's suffering. We must also protect Israel from the socialist idiocy, of Labor, which ruinsed Greece and ruins every nation which adopts it. Israel NEEDS resounding Patriotic Right victory!
5. #4:Exactly, this is what the "patient" needs, but will he
tom ,   tel aviv   (01.12.13)
take the medicine?! Ifpeople like Livni, Meretz-loonies can still get even votes, something's wrong with the patient...
6. Not that many Votes
Zechariah   (01.12.13)
Netanyahu will have the largest Bloch and with the Haredim and Shas Fifty mandates. He needs fifteen out of the Labor Hatnuya Yesh Atid And Kadima Left Overs to form a stable Cabinet Better Thirty to reach Eighty Mandates.Concentrate on the Social Gap Syria and Iran and a Demilitirized autonomous Palestnian Area Confederated with Hashemite Jordan .The outposts turned into Us NATO Peace Enforcing Bases.
7. Bibi & Bennet need to follow Shelly example
zionist forever   (01.12.13)
Shelly has said she will not join any right wing government led by Bibi. If Bibi & Bennet announce that neither of them would join a leftist government then Shelly Livni the left can't get enough seats to justify Peres forming a leftist coalition. It would make it physically impossible for the left to put together a coalition with just Shelly, Livni, Lapid and Meretz because the 2 largest right wing parties are out leaving them with just the religious parties and I can't imagine Lapid sitting with the religious. Peres is desperate to dream up some tactic to justify forming a leftist coalition so Bibi & Bennet need to create a situation where he has but to appoint Bibi as PM and give him the chance to form a right wing coalition.
8. Lapid, Yachi & Livni must unite for Israel.
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.12.13)
The Right will lead to war, the Left will inter-fight forever on outdated ideas. The Center carries Israeli's only hope, but they will have the chance if they put together a united block. It will be hard, but the three leaders need to bury all their ego hatchets from the past and look brightly together into the future of the State. They have the right ideas, so it should be possible.
9. If mrs Yakimovich's party
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (01.12.13)
wins the elections, she will get the position of chief belly dancer in the future Republic of Palestine. Vote for B. Netanyahu !
10. Elections
Avi schryber ,   Givat Zeev israel   (01.12.13)
I find it hard to believe that people don't support the demand for a fairer society that looks after the less fortunate in the country in s better way ! The Likud has done virtually nothing except bring down the price of mobile phone calls! It's time for a more centre left wing government that cares that people have work with pride!
11. #9, Maybe he will want one ton cannon from your Magyar yard?
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.12.13)
12. false figures designed to give people confidence in Labor
zionist forever   (01.12.13)
A week before the election and the polls are showing Labor with17-18 and Likud about 32-34. Short of something totally unexpected happening Netanyhu will get minimum high 20s whilst Labor will be lucky to get 21. Ruling out joining the coalition was also a mistake for Labor, will make the party idealists happy but not swing voters who want to see a coalition that involves Labor rather than Bennet or The religious block but have more confidence in Bibi as a PM If Shelly refuses to join the coalition and she can't make the 20 mark I doubt the party will want to keep her on as leader when they hold their next primaries. Bibi needs to play his cards right and like Lapid tell the right things to the right people and he can win this. Assuming he could get 38-40 seats he could form a coalition with Bennet & Lapid along with UTJ rather than Shas. give him an all round coalition around 66-67 seats. He may also invite Livni so nobody in the left or right is so essential to the coalition that the government won't fall if one party has a tantrum.
13. #12 Zionist, An astute analysis, thank you.
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.12.13)
Obviously, the poll by Labor for Labor is a bit of false propaganda, as you you say. The conclusion you derive makes a lot of sense. If a coalition is formed without Shas and other cheap favor shoppers, it will be a great day for Israel.
14. I must post the truth
Yeled Keton-ton ,   West Bank   (01.12.13)
somebody tougher than Netanyahu would be a disaster. abbas has been waiting patiently for a long time for an Israeli leader with enough courage and compassion to sit down with him and say "ok brother, cant we all just get along?". the answer isn't fight terror with an iron fist, it's fight terror through dialogue sweet gestures and tough choices concessions. the only viable leader I see strong enough to lead us to the point where we all sing and hold hands for peace is tzipi livni. she is a true Israeli leader who knows abbas is just dying to have a peace partner. now yes it would be lovely id Israelis and Palestinians could make a circle and sing songs together, but as much as we all wish we could dance with them the truth is that we haven't had a leader yet with enough courage to say, " enough is enough!". instead of firing missiles at Palestinians.. Jeff wouldn't it be AMAZING to sit down next to khaled mashaal and say " how are you? how are you feeling? why do we do what we do?" and Jeff you know what will happen? we will find out that we all love the same sports, the same songs, and we truly care hearing about each others feelings. Jeff doesn't this sound beautiful? then you should vote livni! I'm not sure if I changed your mind, I make a very good argument though, but I'm willing to bet, if I was prime minister, id have peace in a day. peace thru love, not hate.
15. I'm voting zoabi for courage

zionist forever   (01.12.13)
Livni is an ammuter which is Kadima went from being largest party to one not expected to get any seats. The peace process is not a priority issue for most voters, that ended in the 90s. A coalition of Labor, Lapid, Livni can't beat a coalition of Bibi, Bennet and the religious block. No Jew short of the communist left in Hadash will ever vote for an arab full stop and certain not Zuoabi so she isn't going to get a chance to bless us all with peace as you believe she can. Its to make sure Muslims never become a majority that even the left will never accept right of return. Israel is and always will be a Jewish, zionist state and even Livni wouldn't trade that for a peace process.
17. to #14 you don't really believe that
the mad zionist ,   san francisco   (01.12.13)
do you? that has to be some of th most naive statements I have ever heard. start your own envoy. and give that a shot. Im willing to bet you and mashal have very different feelings on this matter. you cant humus your way to peace with people out to destroy you. although mashal would get a kick out of yanking your chain. hed use the hell out of you. im just seriously wondering if you really believe what you're saying. you can't appease extremists. they only understand an iron fist. everything else only enables them. im all about peace but that's only going to bring more terror doggie
18. left equals mess
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (01.12.13)
I have seen politics for over a half century, but never saw the left in such a mess. What do we see here? Shelly heading Labor as it sinks for the once prestigeous party to a mere opposition echo. Livni, a big mouth, no brains and a real loser. Yair, handsome and smart, will go somewhere. Mofat, the nebech of the group, captain of a sinking ship. All of the above against Bennett who seemed to come from no where and take off like a flash. I feel bad for the left. not just for the mess, but also if they were able to get together, they could not form a government. Such apathetic losers.
19. # 14
Birdi ,   Israel   (01.12.13)
If you would be PM the Pallies would eat you alive & you would be dead within 6 months Happy naive dreams to you!
20. MV Israel
Daniel ,   JM   (01.13.13)
The right - we can steer around the iceberg. The left - the iceberg is our friend, it won't let us down. The center - we promise the best chairs on the deck.
