for carrying out aggravated assault on young defenceless boys. If this is a wide spread phenomenon and someone attacks my son in the next few months, I will be suing the State for not protecting him. This behaviour is totally unexceptable, our boys are sacrificing three years of their life to protect this Country and this is how they are rewarded. Deal with these thugs harshly, before we all begin sending our sons abroad.

What a bunch of idiots. I don't disagree with rituals, as it should be completely painless. It's about showing the new recruits to trust in each other the unit). It isn't supposed to hurt anyone.

What is gained by the people who carry out these assaults.If it is a case of"I suffered it ,so you must suffer it too" , this indicates ongoing bullying and barbarism,whether in the IDF other armies,colleges in USA etc.I really do not understand the mentality of these people.If I had a son who suffered this treatment,I would go to the highest authority.More testosterone than sense?

Look at this army, can you call this a army? Or a big group of immoral, cruel youths with perverse and crazy fantasies. It would be a living hell for a Haredi to adapt there.

So you think Haredim don't do immoral things? Many of them are hypocrites. They pretend to follow G-d's word, but they do all kind of immoral stuff. Some of the things I saw are so bad, I could not describe them here!

What do you think? If you had ever served with Druze soldiers you would know that they would never act in such a ridiculous manner. I had the pleasure with serving with Druze and Bedouin in my sedir service in Southern Lebanon they are soldiers with honour. This activity is unfortunately limited to our own ethnic group

Well thats strange, gay men serve in the army, pay taxes, work for a living , contribute to this country yet they have fewer rights than the lazy bone idol ultra orthdox who dodge the draft, dont work and dont pay taxes, so please spare us your lectures about morality. Typical just looking for isolated incidents as an exscuse to once again let the ultra orthdox dodge the draft. Enough of there pathetic exscuses, the army does everything it can to accomdate them, about time they made them in to real men and gave them a taste of army life instead of making ficticious lies about studying in yashivot.
