1. Riot
Get Real ,   UK   (01.16.13)
And why no PA security forces around to deter rioting?
2. 3 questions
Matt ,   Queens NYC   (01.17.13)
1. Why were the Palestinian's protesting and rioting? I'd think it would have been the Jews rioting against UNESCO? 2. Were they rioting against Israeli forces or PA forces?
3. Language used
Mr Richard Frederick Marcuse ,   West Vancouver, Cana   (01.17.13)
Can Ynet consider using the term "demonstration" instead of the word "riot" from time to time? Often, a demonstration is the first stage in civilian groups communicating their position. A "riot" may not ensue; when it does, the violence of the state may be the trigger...!
4. Pipe bombs, molotov cocktails is attack with deadly force NOT
PETER SM ,   MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA   (01.17.13)
just a "riot" Now that UNESCO illegally made them in charge, they want it to be a Mosque Seems to be a lot of Arab "peace activists" with time on their hands-thank you Euro-shmucks.
5. Keep Rioting Arab Settlers away from Jewish holy sites
Chaim Ben Kahan ,   Efrat, Israel   (01.17.13)
We hear all the time about mobs of Arabs attacking innocent Jews while they are praying. This is why it's crucial we keep our holy sites protected and under Israeli control.
6. stone throwing
joemoer ,   israel   (01.17.13)
throwing a stone by hand or with a sling can cause serious damage or death..stone throwing in arab countries is used as a death penalty ..when someone is killed by a stone throwing mob..therefore stone throwing is use of a deadly weapon...stone throwing rioters should be shot...if we continue to allow this behaviour it will never change..
7. What would Assad have done?
Menachem Ben Yakov ,   Yerushalayim Israel   (01.17.13)
Put the bastards down for good.
8. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.17.13)
Well, in this case, there was no "state violence." Will you settle for "ersatz 'Palestinians' run amok and hurl stones in keeping with their unfortunate and rather frequent proclivity to turn violent with absolutely no provocation?" That would cover all bases. Truth in reporting seems to offend you. Why is that?
9. To #8
Robert ,   Queens NYC   (01.17.13)
First off, I'm not offended by anything. I just had some questions that weren't reported. I'm trying to understand more about it. Also, my third question got cut off (my fault not Ynet's) and thats how did they organize like this? Thats crazy all those Molotov cocktails and pipe bombs/ Is this something that usually happens in Arab areas?
10. to #3 against what?
ghostq   (01.17.13)
I know they were rioting against the icebergs in the north poll, even a sneeze can make them riot.

shimon ,   Poleg   (01.17.13)
Bethlehem is controlled by PA. Apart from a small area and Rachel's tomb. It's literally one end of the street with Arabs throwing rocks and PA police watching whit Israeli soldiers at the tomb at the other end of the street.
12. Throwing rocks, pipe bombs and Molotov Cocktails at People
Moshe of Rockville ,   Rockville,MD USA   (01.17.13)
Throwing the above at those who seek the innocent comfort of visiting religious sites requires protective measures. I would use tear gas at first then a lethal dose of bullets. The pipe bombs,Molotov cocktails, and rocks can be lethal and must be stopped.
